Chapter 56 [Vault]

Title - Tarn: The Summoner | Chapter 2

Days had passed since his initial reincarnation, and Tarn had completed quite a lot during this time. He had summoned a total of 5 more individuals, 4 through the days passing, and once through killing some less-than-good humans. This was done by having his summons travel around, finding criminals such as rapists, and cleansing the world of them.

The five individuals he summoned, were all quite helpful in their own ways. They were the following:

[Sandstorm - An Autobot of another universe, with two different forms. One is aerial, and the other is land-based. Specializes in desert battle, and traversing the desert]

[Doubledealer - An Autobot of another universe. Is primarily a long-ranged fighter, and is a skilled marksman, skilled in the usage of snipers]

[Springer - An Autobot of another universe, and another Autobot with two different forms. One is aerial-based, being a helicopter form, and the other is an armored-based land vehicle. Is skilled in both close range and durability]

[Growltracks - A Decepticon of another universe. Is primarily a grunt, who was skilled in blending in with human vehicles. Not particularly skilled in any combat area]

[Mercy - An Autobot of another universe. Skilled in the usage of snipers, and a decent bit skilled in healing and first aid. The first, and only female transformer so far that has been summoned]

Each of the summons had their uses and were all helpful to Tarn in one way. Mercy and Growltracks were given the order to travel around the nearby human cities, getting Tarn information on his current location. Which, after a day of them spying around, they found that they were currently in Arizona, in one of the major deserts of the state.

With this new knowledge, Tarn realized that he was not in Nevada like he originally believed. Meaning he was not near where the Autobots were, which he deemed to be a good thing…for now. He knew it was only a matter of time before they found him and his summons, be it through detecting their energon, or something else.

Currently Tarn was sitting in his cave, waiting for Mercy and Growltracks to return with the items he sent them out for.

Soon, Tarn heard the sounds of cars approaching, and the roaring of engines. Looking up, he watched as two cars pulled up, before transforming into their true forms, the items he wanted in hand. “My lord, we have the objects you wanted” Mercy said with a smile on her robotic face, as she lifted a small crate that was filled with phones, a couple of laptops, and even some speakers.

“Thank you, Mercy, Growltracks. You two may go” Tarn said, as he took the crate from Mercy. Hearing Tarn, the two bowed, before walking out of the cave of their lord.

‘Hmm, time to see just how this assimilation works’ Tarn thought, as he lowered his right hand onto the crate, touching the electronics inside, with his hand. The second he did, a sharp glow emanated from the technology, before they began to glow and form into a liquid, before flowing into Tarn.

The second this happened, Tarn’s eyes widened as an influx of knowledge flooded his brain. Knowledge of the different pieces of technology, how to make them, the materials required, and more. He could also feel a connection to the internet was made in his mind, and songs began to fill his head, the lyrics being ingrained into his cybertronian brain.

His mind began to process and work even faster than before, as it took in the new knowledge, and perfectly, and quickly sorted it all. The new knowledge was a bit useful, but not enough for Tarn to be truly happy over it, just enough to be useful in the future. The most useful part was the connection to the internet, which was vastly stronger than normal due to Tarn being a cybertronian.

‘That was…interesting’ Tarn thought, as the assimilation finished. He didn’t gain a ton out of it, but he now knew just how the assimilation felt and worked. It was not nearly as painful as he was expecting, and wasn’t all that bad. Which he realized was probably due to his Cybertronian physiology and brain.

‘Having a connection to the internet might be useful, especially in future worlds’ Tarn thought, realizing that it could prove to be incredibly helpful in the future, knowing just how much knowledge within the internet, and how much of it can be of aid to him.

‘My next focus should be better technology, like high-speed computers, or even supercomputers. Finding some Cybertronian tech would be nice, but I doubt I will be able to find anything like that, anytime soon’ Tarn thought, as he silently stayed within his thoughts. He knew that canon itself probably wouldn’t be starting for a while, maybe a couple of months. That was more than enough time for him to get some new and good summons, while also getting more technology to increase his own power.

Walking out of his cave, he decided to use the last of his summons, this being 4 of them. ‘System, use the my summon for the day’

[Skyqueen - An immensely powerful aerial Autobot that flies. She is a large Autobot specializing in dominating the skies above. Besides having aerial power, she also has immense physical strength, and immense firepower due to her nature. She is the second female transformer to be summoned so far]

Tarn watched as a large glow emanated in front of him, thankfully, he was outside, otherwise, the entire cave would have collapsed due to her size. The giant cybertronian dropped to a knee before her new lord, even when she was at least double his size.

“My lord” Her voice boomed, a deep feminine tone to it.

“None of you are going to stop calling me that, are you?” Tarn voiced out with a sigh, causing her to shake her head with a smile.

“I’m afraid not, my lord”

“Well…I suppose I’ll just have to get used to it. Now, why don’t we go and introduce you to your brethren”

“Shall we?” Tarn spoke, a grin on his face under his mask, knowing that she was just another powerful addition to his faction.
