Chapter 68 [Vault]

Title - The Witch of Infinity

I’ve died. Not sure how, when, or why, but I did.

I had been watching Harry Potter, watching as poor Harry was being ruthlessly bullied by the Dursleys, all because he was a Wizard. And then I was here.

This is strange due to the fact that I wasn’t eating anything, wasn’t drinking anything, wasn’t unhealthy, and had no real health problems. But yet, I was here.

“That would be my doing, child”

A booming voice sounded out, cutting me out of any thoughts I had. Looking around, I found myself staring at the one who spoke, a man that looked like…Morgan Freeman?

“You’re God, aren’t you?” I asked, having seen and read enough fanfics to know exactly who this man was.

“That would be correct, child. I believe you understand why you’re here, correct?”

“Reincarnation? Or something along those lines” I answered, knowing that was what this situation was. Or at least, I believe so. I have read thousands of fanfictions, watched hundreds of shows and movies, read thousands of comics, and seen all sorts of fanfiction situations that this sounded eerily similar to. So it was obvious enough what sort of situation I was in.

“That would be correct, child. Now, let us select your starting world, powers, and background”

Hearing this, I watched as a wheel formed in formed in front of me.

“Before you spin this wheel, which world would you like to start in?”

“Harry Potter” I said without hesitation. It was the world I was most knowledgeable about and was the one that I adored more than any other.

“Good world to start in, and one of my favorites. Now, please spin the wheel. All of your 3 powers will be chosen in this spin. You will also receive the inherent talent and potential of the original owners, and, should you begin to travel the multiverse, may develop more powers from the same universes they originate from”

Hearing this I nodded and grabbed the large glowing wheel, before spinning it with all my might.

Watching as words ticked on by, nerves filling me, I watched as it slowly stopped.

[3rd POV]

[1st Power - Infinity | Merlin | Seven Deadly Sins]

[2nd Power - The Ruler | The Demon King | Seven Deadly Sins]

[3rd Power - Disaster | King | Seven Deadly Sins]

Reading through the three abilities, the girl's jaw dropped. Each of the powers was… immensely strong. Especially Infinity and Disaster. Infinity would basically allow her to make any spell she cast last for an infinite amount of time without draining her any more magic. Disaster was…an entire power centered around life and death, making wounds worse, poisons stronger, growing and killing plants around the user, and a host of other uses. And the Ruler could invert magical attacks at the user, making them heal if they were meant to harm, and harm if they were meant to heal. All three were useful, and all three were powerful.

“...Wow, it’s rare to see someone get such good abilities from the wheel. Congratulations child, you have quite the luck. Now, what would you like your background to be?”

Shaking off her shock at the three powers she had gotten, the girl responded “The older sister to Harry Potter”

“Hmm, I see. How much older? I will have to make everyone older in order to make up for this, I hope you know. Meaning that Lily and James Potter will have Harry at an older age, but everything else will be roughly the same, as he will still be born in 1980”

“6 years older” She responded. She didn’t want to be an 11-year-old when he started school, and nor was she interested in staying in Hogwarts for long, as a student at least. With those sorts of powers she had, she would be far too powerful for Hogwarts to be of any use to her, beyond a year or two. Not to mention having the monstrous talent and potential she would have.

“So 1974? Alright then. All characters of Lily’s generation will be 6 years older, and the timeline will be slightly different. But nothing that you will have to worry about”

“Thank you, sir”

“No problem, child. Now, let us begin your reincarnation. I do hope you enjoy your new life, and use these new powers of yours to the fullest. Your multiverse traveling powers will be awakened once Voldemort is killed once and for all, and you can travel to a new world once per year. Time will not pass in old worlds, and you may freely travel to old worlds once that year passes”

Hearing this the girl smiled “Thank you, God”

“Enjoy your new life…Azalea Potter”

Hearing the name she was given, the girl now known as Azalea sighed, as everything went dark, and she was pulled from the darkness that surrounded her.

[Location: ????????] [3rd POV]

“JAMES POTTER, I SWEAR to Merlin once this is over I will kill you!” A woman roared as she screamed in pain, a man holding her hand and sweating as she gripped his hand harshly.

“Push Lil’s push! She’s right there!” James spoke, as Lily gave one last cry of pain and pushed.

‘Ah…I’ve just been born’ Azalea thought, as she felt the strange sensation, and everything went bright. Her eyes were…not liking the new atmosphere, as they struggled to give her a good look at her new parents.

“It’s a Girl, Lil’s. Our little princess” James said with a wide smile as he picked his new daughter up, and handed her to the now-crying Lily.

“My little Azalea, my little girl” Lily said, tears pouring from her eyes as she gazed at her newborn daughter.

James and Lily both smiled as they watched their daughter, neither of them noticing as the vases outside the room floated off the ground and how the flowers around the mansion began to bloom. Neither of them new just what had been born into the world, and the changes she would bring. The changes that would rewrite Wizarding world forever.

That’s the end of the chapter!

This is a short chapter, but it is also the prologue to this little vault fic, so it was hard to make it too long.

The idea came from “LoneWolf_3000” so thanks to them for the idea! I did change a few things, like the idea of her getting with Luna. Which while interesting, I don’t think I’ll be able to write Luna very well, as she’s…different.

And the Ruler and Disaster were something I added. Neither is particularly super OP or anything, but have a shit ton of potential. Disaster is also pretty reliant on magical power and all that, so she can’t just use it willy-nilly.

I also made her the older sister, as I wanted to do some more older sister dynamics, especially when the Durselys come up, and her basically raising her little brother.

Not sure how well this turned out, but yeah. Her face claim is more than likely going to be Madelaine Petsch (The girl who plays Cheryl from Riverdale).
