Chapter 82 [Vault]

[3rd POV] 

Standing within her training room, sweat trickling down her abs, Rhea stood, grinning widely. A month had passed since she got Superalloy Darkshine, and she spent most of it training, learning, and training some more.

‘This past month of suffering were definitely worth it’ Rhea thought, as she read the notification in her vision.

‘...This is a genuinely difficult choice. Both Atomic Samurai and Flashy Flash are good additions, one of them being specialized in Swordsmanship, and the other speed. Frankly, Flash Flash is more useful at the moment. As I have Martial Arts, I have durability, but I am still slow in comparison to someone like Supergirl. With Flashy Flash, I should be faster than her, or the current her at least’ Rhea thought with a hum, contemplating her choice. 

‘Not to mention I’ll probably get more percentage off the bat, due to my knowledge in martial arts from Bang and Superalloy. Considering most of his techniques are based around ninjutsu, martial arts, and speed-based techniques’ Rhea thought, before deciding on Flashy Flash.

As she read this, memories pounded her head, causing her to twitch slightly. She was much more used to the assimilation of memories, after the previous template. 

Like before, her muscles bulged slightly, as her figure glowed with a soft golden light. She could feel power fill her being, and feel her senses improve, as her figure blurred with pure speed, courtesy of Flashy Flash. 

‘Fuck this feels amazing’ Rhea thought with a happy sigh as she stretched, her bones popping as she did so.

Looking down to her fist, she smirked before blurring and reappearing next to one of her specially made punching bag, and reappearing around the room several times, trying out her new speed. 

‘Definitely the right decision’ Rhea thought, happy with her immense new speeds. She was definitely faster than Supergirl and the Flash, by quite a bit at that. She knew that The Flash would eventually become faster than her, but that wouldn’t happen for quite some time.

‘His ninjutsu isn’t bad either’ Rhea thought, as the ninjutsu was pretty decent, but nothing like what she’d want from ninjutsu. 

“I think this calls for a drink” Rhea said out loud, grinning as she walked out of the training basement.

After freshening up a bit, and getting into some comfortable clothing, Rhea made her way to a local bar she frequented. 

Walking in and sitting down at a table, she ordered a simple burger and beer. ‘Looks like she’s here, again’ Rhea thought, noticing Alex out of the corner of her eye. 

‘She’s starting to get suspicious, considering she’s here almost every single time I come to this bar. Seems the DEO might have noticed my spending habits. Weird that they’d come for me of all people, so there might be a different alien here she’s looking for’ Rhea thought with a hum, sipping on her beer. 

Rhea silently watched a tall man exited the Bar, with Alex soon following after him. ‘Looks like she’s after an alien’

Silently Rhea got up from her seat and began to follow discreetly from behind. As she slipped out of the bar after them. 

Walking into the nearby alleyway, Rhea’s eyes widened slightly at the sight of the man forcing a struggling Alex against the wall, obviously trying to do something to her, forcefully. 

‘Ah fuck it’ Rhea thought, and without hesitation, blurred next to the man, and launched him into the nearby wall with a singular strike. The strike not only knocked him unconscious, but also noticeably broke several bones, most noticeably his right arm, and his ribs. 

“You alright there, beautiful?” Rhea asked the shaken woman, causing her to look at her before nodding. 

“Who-Who are you?” Alex asked, staring at the woman she didn’t know. She had seen her at the bar a few times, but that was entirely it. 

“Rhea, you sure you’re alright? The ugly fucker looked like he did a number on you” Rhea asked, noticing the bruise on Alex’s arm. 

“I’m fine, this is nothing” Alex replied, letting out a small groan as she moved. 

“Uh huh. So what were you getting him for? Is it just him being an alien that’s the problem?” Rhea asked, causing Alex to shake her head. 

“No, he was kidnapping women. And what are you? An alien?” 

“Nah, human, just more…special. And as for the question that I am sure you’re about to ask, no, I didn’t know you are from any sort of Government organization, but it’s not hard to guess when you’re chasing after someone like him” Rhea added, knowing the question was naturally going to come up within a few moments. 

“I-thank you…really”

“You aren’t going to out me to whoever you work for, are you?” Rhea asked, hoping that she wouldn’t as she really didn’t want to be annoyed by the DEO at the moment. 

“No, since you helped me, and you don’t seem bad, I’ll let you off” Alex replied, shaking her head at the woman she refused to acknowledge was attractive, the most attractive person she had ever seen, in fact. 

“Well thanks…” “Alex, I’m Alex” “Well thank you Alex”

“I think I’m the one who should be doing all the thanking” Alex responded. 

“Hmm, whatever you say. And you’re taking me knowing you…quite well, are you sure you weren’t there for me?” Rhea asked with a raised eyebrow, knowing the lack of serious reaction from Alex. 

“No, I wasn’t there for you. But I’m also pretty sure I’ve got a major concussion right now, so that’s why I’m probably not completely freaking out like I usually would be” Alex responded, causing Rhea to sigh. 

“Alright then, do you have someone that can come and get you? You seriously need it if you’ve got a concussion” Rhea asked, causing the noticeably more out-of-it Alex to nod. 

“Yeah, my boss will be here soon, they’ve got all sorts of trackers on me for this sort of thing” Alex responded. 

“Ah, alright then. I’ll be off, as I’d rather not be locked up besides that one. I hope we see eachother again, cutie” Rhea said with a grin, before walking off as Alex blushed a slight pink at the words. 

‘Definitley teasing her more the next time we meet~’ Rhea thought with a wide smirk, as she walked off, feeling the gaze of the closeted lesbian on her plump arse. She knew that Alex was struggling with her sexuality, so she hoped she could help her through it.

[1 month later]

Another month had passed since her initial fight with that alien, and saving Alex, and a bit had happened. 

She hadn’t seen Alex since then, and she doubted she’d see her until way later on. So instead, Rhea focused entirely on getting done with Flashy Flash, something she had just now completed. 

Sweat poured down Rhea’s abs as she finished blurring around the training area she made. A training area specially made for dodging, speed-based training, and her “ninjutsu”. 

Gazing at the notification in front of her, Rhea’s eyes were wide.

“Hoooly…” Rhea whispered, as she gazed at the word “Garou”

“I doubt it will include that cosmic mode his…but even without that, this is an incredibly powerful template to get…” Rhea whispered, before breathing in and choosing Garou.

The second she did, she groaned as both power and pain began to flood her being. Her already powerful muscles bulged and strengthened over and over and over. Her mind was flooded with new and important knowledge, as her body glowed with power. 

The assimilation process took nearly 3 minutes, before it finally finished, as Rhea let out a soft sigh. 

“God I hate that feeling, but the power that comes after makes up for it” Rhea muttered as she clenched her fist at the power that filled her being.

“Now…let’s see what I can do with this new power of mine”

[Another month later]

Yet another month had passed, with very little happening to Rhea herself during this time. While in the rest of National City, some pretty big events went down, like Supergirl making her first genuine appearance, her fighting the likes of Reactron, and some other stuff. 

Rhea knew she still had a few months until season 2, when she decided she’d start making her “appearance” in. 

During this month, she had of course focused entirely on training, like she had been for the previous months. And just like the last month, she had completed yet another template, another incredibly powerful one at that.

‘So it changes what world I get them from, per 5 templates? Not a bad amount, enough to get some pretty decent ones. And as for the template, there is quite literally only one option’ Rhea thought, before instantly choosing Lord Boros.

Gazing at this, Rhea smiled, pleased, before her body began to glow, and everything went…dark.

That’s the end of the chapter!

I was in the mood for writing this vault chapter, so I decided why not? 

Love interest is Alex. Should I add Lena and Kara, or just put her with Alex and Alex alone? I was kinda thinking of doing that, and then using the Kara vault fic for Lena, and the Mighty for Kara...I might just do that actually lol.

I might be making a vault chapter based around a certain "Frosty" character as the love interest, as she's like the only main female character in the Arrowverse that I haven't done a fic on, besides Sara Lance, who I also plan on making a fic around.

I might upload a chapter for "Arrow: The Prodigy" soon, but we'll see.

She’ll be getting another bunch of templates in the next chapter, and then it’ll be onto season 2 of Supergirl. This also means more timeskips. 

Give some ideas for worlds she can get templates from! But try and keep it with worlds that have Heroes, and less magical ones, as I don’t want her getting magic until later on.
