Chapter 93 [Vault]

[3rd POV] [Elaine’s home]

Within Elaine’s home, happy giggles reverberated throughout the halls. Giggles that belonged to an elated Elaine, who was currently surrounded by light, light that was formed into cute animals of all kinds, cats, dogs, pandas, and even koalas. All of them floated around her, as her eyes glowed softly. 

“This is so cool!” Elaine said with an excited smile as she felt the warmth of the light constructs, as they rubbed up against her, like the animals they are shaped after. She giggled at this as she rubbed their heads as if they were real. 

“You guys are so cute~” Elaine cooed as she watched them run around her. A happy smile was on her face as they slowly flickered and disappeared. 

“Man this magic is so much cooler than I was hoping for!” Elaine said with a beaming smile, as she slowly got up. 

It had been 3 days since she reincarnated, and during those three days she had simply had fun, living and messing around with her new (and super cool) magic. She had also gotten used to the fact that she was cancer-free, and was able to move around a lot easier. 

Slipping on her jacket, Elaine decided it was finally time to meet with Emma. How was she going to do this? Simple, she was going to go out and hope that whatever deity sent her here, was going to make this a bit easy on her, and have Emma visit the local park with the younger kids today. If not then…she’ll just have to find another way. 

[Her clothes]

Slipping out of her apartment, Elaine began to walk through the halls, ready to finally get enrolled into the Salvator Boarding School.

It turns out that the being that reincarnated her, was being kind to her. As the second she got to the park, she saw Emma in the distance, watching over the younger kids who were running around playing. 

Making her way to the woman, she coughed awkwardly and spoke “Um, hi! Are you Emma Tig?”

Hearing the voice of an unknown teen, Emma turned and raised an eyebrow “I am, and you are?”

“Elaine Rivers. I was hoping to talk to you about the possibility of joining your School? I can use it, before you ask” Elain asked, causing the woman to blink several times. 

“And by use it, you mean?” “Magic? Yep! I can show you if you want” Elaine replied with a smile, while Emma looked at her with a small hum. 

“Alright then, go ahead. No one is around so they won’t see” Emma said, causing Elaine to smile as small balls of light formed around her, her eyes glowing softly. 

Emma looked at the balls of light with slightly widened eyes, before back to Elaine “How do you know of our school?”

“Um-well, I can sort of sense it? The magic I mean, coming from you and the kids. It’s like…really hard to miss. I won’t tell anyone about your school, if that’s what you're wondering, even if you don’t accept me. I just…want somewhere to go” Elaine said with an awkward smile. 

“Sense it?” Emma asked, raising an eyebrow at that. 

“Mmmhmm. It’s sorta like a beacon I guess. Like, I can sense nature and light and all that. But magic is…different, sorta like a small flame flickering in my vision, if that makes sense? It’s hard to explain to be honest” Elaine replied, as she really could sense their magic. 

“...Interesting. And what of your parents?” Emma asked, causing Elaine to shake her head. 

“Don’t have any. They passed away…a long time ago. I’ve sorta been taking care of myself, but! Don’t worry, I’m pretty capable” Elaine said with a smile, trying to ease the teachers evident worry. 

“And do you have any previous schooling?” 

“Hmm? Yep! I’m up to high school levels, all self-taught of course, but I can keep up with anyone else in your school. It’s only magic that they’re gonna be ahead of me in. Except Water, Light, and nature-based magics, as I’m pretty good at those, they’re sorta my specialties” Elaine explained, causing the woman to nod a small smile forming on her face. 

“I will have to look into it but…I expect you shall be accepted, as we have accepted those with far less than that. Here is my number, you can expect a call from me within the next few days. Ah, and do you have sufficient transport?” Emma asked, causing Elaine to nod, as she continued “Well then, I do hope see you at school soon, Elaine”

Elaine beamed at this, before capturing Emma in a hug, causing the woman to blink in surprise before smiling and hugging her back “Thank you, Miss Emma” 

“Not a problem dear. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a bunch of children to round up” Emma said with a smile before walking off, giving Elaine a wave. 

Watching her walk off, Elaine inwardly cheered in happiness as she had a bright smile on her face. Giving the woman a wave, she walked off with a pep in her step. 

‘Looks like I’ll be going to school soon!’ Elaine thought, genuinely excited for school since like…ever.

A couple more days had passed before finally she got a call. 

Sitting on her couch in her pajamas, Elaine coughed as she scrambled for her phone at the name “Miss Tig (Best Teacher)” was the caller ID. 

“Miss Rivers? This is Emma. I am calling to inform you that you have been formally accepted into the Salvatore Boarding School”

“Really? That’s great! Um, when do you want me there?” 

“Today, if possible. As I do believe I have a student who can give you a tour of the premises” Emma said, as she thought of a certain broody girl who needed some friends, and she had a feeling Elaine would be the perfect one for her. 

“I’ll be there! Is there anything I need to bring?”

“Besides clothes and any personal items like a phone or laptop? No, all the books have been taken care of, and the teachers already know of you being new, so need not worry” Emma replied, causing Elaine to smile as she flicked her wrist, light flickering around the apartment as it began to form small hands, which then went around and picked out various clothing, which ranged from jeans, skirts, bra’s, panties, and pretty much her entire closet, alongside her phone, laptop and some other electronics of note. 

“Okay, I’ll be there in 30 minutes or so” Elaine replied with a smile. 

“Alright then, see you then. Ah, and the gate will be open, so just drive in to the front of the school” Emma responded. 

“I’ll see you then!” Elaine said, before hanging up. 

Excitement filled Elaine as she let out a small cheer, jumping to her feet to get ready, as she not only wanted to be in proper clothing, but she was also excited for the chance to finally meet a certain Tribrid.

As she got ready, Elaine only had one thought on her mind. 

‘Hopefully, she’s the one giving the tour!’

That’s the end of the chapter!

As said last time, Elaine will be cheerful, outgoing, and a total sweetheart personality wise (sorta like Alice from Daughter of God). Also, should she be the submissive one in bed? As in, the bottom? As usually I write fics where they’re the ones in control and on top, but for this one, I was thinking of changing it up, as I think it’d make more sense for Hope to be dominant in bed. Tell me what you think of that though.
