Upon hearing what her wife said, Zoe let out a groan “Of course, this just had to be one of those situations” 

[Apologies for the circumstance, but it cannot be changed now. The two of you have died, one on accident, and the other on purpose. Kate, you have been chosen to reincarnate entirely by chance. Zoe, you have died on accident. However, upon learning of your relation to one another, permission has been granted for the two of you to reincarnate together in the same universe. Said universe has already been chosen, and is the universe known as “The Walking Dead”]

The two frowned deeply at this, before Zoe asked “Do we get any boons or anything? You can’t expect us to just show up there with these clothes and that’s it, right?”

[You, Zoe, shall be granted your military kit that you used during your time in the military, alongside your body being reverted into it’s prime and some slightly heightened comprehension and reaction speeds. Kate, you shall be given one of those “Systems” that you know of from fanfic. It will be a “Gacha system” that will pick fictional human characters and give you their knowledge, you gain them by getting tickets, tickets are gained from killing 10 walkers, completing quests, or serving 1 month. And it is limited to only humans and humans alone. Both of you will be granted infinite potential as well]

“So you’re saying that we have to live in the Walking Dead for the rest of our lives?” Kate asked, frowning as the two of them were thinking over what this being had told them. 

[No. Once the entire show is completed (as in, all the way to season 11) you will be granted the ability to travel to another universe]

“That…isn’t much of a difference, as that’s like what, 10 years or more?” Zoe muttered with a sigh, as Kate nodded.

“But, if I have this…system and you’ve got your military kit, we should be fine for a good while. Plus that infinite potential thing sounds like it could become very powerful in the future” Kate added, causing Zoe to go quiet before nodding. 

“Yeah I guess, but it’s still gonna be hard. And with my PTSD…are you sure I should even be coming a-” “Don’t even think of saying it!” Kate cut her off, giving her a fierce look as she knew exactly what Zoe was about to say. 

“I need you with me baby. And I sure as hell am not doing this without you. And so what if you’ve got PTSD? You’re my wife, and I will not let you back out on this. Either we both go, or neither, there’s no in between” Kate said with a fierce glare. 

“O-Okay. So…we’re doing this in the off chance that we can get sent to another universe, right? Cause…going to Harry Potter or one of them sounds like fun” Zoe said, causing Kate to nod. 

“Yep, that’s the only reason I’m contemplating this. Plus…just think of all the adventure we can do! And with the knowledge I’ll be getting, I can make us immortal for the most part, so we can travel as long as we want, and then retire comfortably” Kate replied, causing Zoe to look at her with a small smile as she thought over the idea. 

“M-Maybe even have kids” Zoe muttered, causing Kate to smile softly. 

“Oh definitely love. Just imagine a little me running around~” Kate said with a small grin, causing Zoe to sigh. 

“Fine, fine. Let’s do this. But if you die, I’m coming right after” “And I will do the same for you” Kate responded, as the two looked at one another before softly kissing. 

“Alright, how do we do this?” Zoe asked the being. 

[Neither of you need to do anything, all has been done. Enjoy your new lies, Kate and Zoe Ravensfield]

Neither of them could continue before everything went dark, and they began to get pulled off from the void.

Within a small home, that was evidently trashed with wooden planks pressed against the windows, soft gasps sounded out. 

“What the bloody-” “Hell was that?” Kate and Zoe said, as they began to cough, getting up from what seemed to be a pullout bed. 

Looking around, they both frowned at their surroundings. 

“Seems the apocalypse has already begun, but for how long?” Zoe asked. Before she could continue, Kate spoke. 

“Can you see this, love?” Kate asked, as Zoe turned and blinked at the words in front of her wife, before nodding. 

Moving to sit next to Kate, the two began to read the notification in Kate’s vision. 

[Congratulations on completing your transmigration! It is currently during season 1 of The Walking Dead, closer to Season 2. You have been given 3 free HT (Human Tickets) to use. The tickets have humans and humans alone, and does not include the superhuman, such as those with a super serum. Would you like to claim the tickets?]

“Love do you think I should?” Kate asked Zoe who went silent before nodding. 

“Yeah, I think so. You’re gonna need all the knowledge you can get, especially since we’re in the middle of the apocalypse” Zoe replied. 

“Alright then, use those tickets”

The two of them read the three characters with wide eyes. The two of them knew of all three of them, and all three of them were helpful. Catwoman was skilled in martial arts and was good at stealth and stealing. Kate was an excellent marksman/archer, and Dr House was skilled in all things relating to being a doctor. 

“That…is a lot better than I was expecting to be honest” Zoe muttered, causing Kate to crack a small smile. 

“Yeah…yeah it is. System, is assimilating this going to hurt?”

[Negative. It will feel slightly uncomfortable, but that is all. The user will also gain the memories of the importance from them, so nothing like their sexual relations and such]

“Well then, assimilate them, system” Kate said as she braced herself, only to blink as memories instantly flooded her brain. There was no pain, no long-lasting process, but an instant transfer. A rather strange feeling one that was slightly uncomfortable, but nothing like she was anticipating. 

“You alright babe?” Zoe asked, noticing the way Kate was reacting. 

“Hmm? Yep! It just didn’t feel the best. But it looks like it’s already over. And I’ve got to admit…the memories they gave me are pretty good” Kate said with a smile, happy with what she got. Hearing this, Zoe just smiled before they got up. Causing Kate to notice what her wife was wearing. It was her military gear. 

Hearing that Kate was okay, Zoe sighed out in slight relief, before looking around, and speaking. 

“Alright then, let’s find out where the hell that deity dropped us, and just how fucked we are”

Basically just a chapter of talking and Kate getting her system which is basically just Gwen’s from Spidergwen, but restricted to humans and only knowledge. That way it really isn’t that op. Not to mention the quests will be difficult and will require a lot to get any.
