I had trouble accessing these old episodes too but they work fine for me if I filter by month.

Artful Dodger

This episode is broken. Can’t play or download.

Valley's speed is making me anxious.

Yairo Martis

he just released a relatively new book

you guys should get norman finkelstein on your show.

A friend of mine contracted scurvy by eating nothing but instant oatmeal for like a semester.

Jonathan Kennedy

Extremely good episode, Eli is great. But I'm losing hair zip-locking every episode and sharing it with my friend over limewire. Please consider removing the paywall, Naomi Klein knows what's up.

Khai El Baba Jones

^ I second that. You guys did an outstanding interview. Also, Felix's hammed-up Israeli accent nearly made me choke from laughing so hard!

Jon Phillip Young

She is I swear.

This should be unlocked this is exceptional

As somebody who's watched once good podcasts crash and burn, you have no idea how much worse it can get. I'm an ex-Drunken Peasants listener. Give Chapo a chance up to episode 800. Keep in mind that Chapo doesn't do live shows and edits, so they're less susceptible to bad takes.

Kiel Cone

Yeah now I can't jerk off to Wonder Woman anymore. Okay it lasted 5 seconds. I'd fuck Gal Gadot if she had a man voice.

Do a Gore Vidal reading series!

If you say "low energy" as though it's a bad thing, you're not a true failson and probably are stealing valor by subscribing in the first place

Loved this episode; have listened twice. IMO this ep would be a good candidate for a "strategic unlocking" - not now, but at some point in the future - during a time when, say, these creaky, sociopathic neocon death-mongers you guys talked about are particularly active in the media, maybe when they get real shouty for bombing Iran (for example). Timing something like this might be kinda like people with money trying to time stock market decisions (usually a fool's game), but making it public in a media environment where it might get the most exposure and interest, and hopefully have at least some impact (whether acknowledged or not), would seem worth considering. And if it helped Eli sell more books, that would be a nice bonus.

Thank goodness for this episode. #152 (and a few other eps lately) was so low energy, un-funny, irrelevant, and frankly boring that I was about to cancel. But this is back on form so I'll stick around for another month.

Dr. N

this is an extremely issue heavy episode and funny this should be unlocked

I literally laughed so hard I spit out the last of my post-expiration date Alpha Bits cereal during the intro when Amber said "Gal Gadot, everbody!"

I mean the holocaust does have a lot of historical lessons. But the Armenian denial guy did cheapen that. I mean let's be honest, they're still pretty hated.

Kiel Cone

Ian Rose

I <3 Chapo-Trap-House!

Joe Sullivan

Great job bringing up the Armenian issue: this is where you really see how aggressively competitive and possessive Israel is about its victimhood. Acknowledging that genocides happened to others is seen as literally cheapening Israel's brand. As probably the only Israeli grey wolf, I love it when you discuss this extremely normal country

philip podolsky
