I don't think shaming Feinstein staffers will have any impact on whether or not Feinstein stays or goes. At the end of the day, they are replaceable cogs like most of us. One area of responsibility is the Senate leadership. Feinstein never should have been allowed to sit on a committee like judiciary where her vote could prove decisive (and where the possibility of her absence was a reasonable assumption). Also, it is worth reminding people every day that the only Obama competitive Senate D versus D endorsement he made in 2018 was Feinstein (a fact that he should be reminded of daily -- we'll put aside the fact that the alternative was Kevin de Leon, a guy who at least would have been present to vote, but who hasn't exactly colored himself in glory since his return to the LA City Council). Of course at a deeper level, the power in the political system tends to be found with people who have real piles of money and influence.

I do think that a bunch of people got randomly fucked over by COVID policies or inflation and some portion of those people do think that (almost certainly incorrectly) voting will address that. There's a lot of that disaffected young man that sort of leans right who are (again, probably wrongly) afraid that speech or affiliations that they are drawn to has more consequences for them than it used to have.
