I loved both versions, in most animes, the English dub always kinda tried to mimic the Japanese acting instead of doing it their own way that's why most of the time the acting kinda feels off. I don't mind which language you guys go for Frieren, both are amazing.

2025-05-28 09:09:47 +0000 UTCAnime fans can be weird sometimes sorry for that, even though i too think the Japanese version is better overall, i wont stop any new fans from trying to get into a show because they want to watch it in their home language. People need to stop over reacting and consider the fact that not everyone can read super fast so they will miss out on many cool shots and that they are older so its way easier for them in english im sure.

I hate to be that guy because saying anything today is seen as offensive but this is exactly why the anime community has the reputation from the outside world that it does, and why I still dont consider myself an "anime fan" XD cant even watch a show in your own language
