2025-05-30 11:30:58 +0000 UTCPlease switch to subbed again. I've only watched a few episodes ahead but i think the voices actually affect the show. There's certain nuances in Japanese that u just don't hear in English. In Japanese, Frieren is very dry and emotionless, almost as if partly on the spectrum and the show is about her emotional growth. But in English she sounds somewhat condescending and not like her actual self. Hope Tony sees the light lol
