Really interesting how Demon Slayer handles power scaling with the Upper Ranks. When Akaza fought Rengoku, he wasn’t even serious — more like testing him out, almost playful. But then we see Daki & Gyutaro, technically the lowest Upper Moon, and it takes Tengen plus Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and even Nezuko together to barely pull through. Now, with the Swordsmith Village Arc beginning and the appearance of Hantengu and Gyokko in Episode 3, the series already hints at just how terrifyingly strong even the next set of Upper Ranks are. And this is still far from the very top. Makes you wonder: if the weakest Upper Moon was already that overwhelming, how massive must the power gaps really be as we climb from Rank 6 all the way up to Rank 1?
