2025-08-19 09:02:06 +0000 UTCI think Kakashi was more of a cool childhood crush. Rin definitely showed much more affection and love toward Obito. And if you remember after Obito was crushed by the boulder, Kakashi pretty much rejects Rin’s love. I’m sure if they all stayed alive and grew up, Rin would’ve eventually understood her feelings for Obito. She’s a very different character compared to Sakura, who never showed Naruto the same type of affection (especially in their academy days/childhood) and stayed loyal to Sasuke throughout the series. And if they grew up together AFTER Obito was crushed by the boulder and escaped Madara’s cave before Rin died, Kakashi would especially never accept Rin’s feelings. He never showed love or romantic interest toward her, and add that to the guilt he felt toward Obito for sacrificing himself and saving him, he’d def want Obito to be with Rin (who I already believe truly loved Obito deep down, she was just way too young). But yeah unfortunately we’ll never get to find out any of that 💔
