More people need to understand this. Obito had no intention of reviving Madara, he was going to do everything himself. Black Zetsu knew this and gave Kabuto Madara’s corpse to use as a bargaining chip to somewhat threaten Obito’s power so he’d cooperate. (And Obito hid the other rinnegan btw) Now here’s the interesting part no one brings up: Black Zetsu could’ve just let Obito become the 10 tails jinjuriki (like what happened) and use him as his main pawn, but Obito did NOT trust Black Zetsu, since he did NOT trust Madara. Obito would’ve simply killed black zetsu if he was standing behind him like that. But Madara COMPLETELY trusted black zetsu, which is how black zetsu was able to stab Madara in the back there. So he straight up needed Madara as the 10 tails jinjuriki.

2025-09-30 03:20:46 +0000 UTCThis will be very unpopular, but I actually like the way the story progressed, even if it felt out of left field. the reveal of Madara having been a puppet, when he was so sure that he was the ultimate Shinobi is awesome. I like Kaguya as a villain too.
