I agree. Even though Hyungwon is my favorite song writer and producer. The way monsta x has there sound and are able to have that amazing sound is because of hyungwon, IM, and jooheon. Does Sam still help with there songs do you know?

He is amazing although I will say Joo and I.M are incredible producers and songwriters as well. Joohoney is such an all rounder that I feel like it's unfair for someone to be so talented hehe. I love how involved they are in their music making which means monbebes get nothing but bops!

I completely agree I forgot to add nobody else as one of my favorites. I mean it is part one to mercy. His songs are absolutely amazing. Even Lone Ranger. He did amazing with that also. And the many arrangements he’s done and lyrics he’s done for wildfire is insanely good. He’s my favorite writer and producer of the group. The way his mind works is very beautiful

Nobody Else to me is such a perfect song! If he wrote an album full of his sad bops I think I would be in heaven and also maybe crying but in the best way. I don't know they just hit perfectly for me.

When it comes to the contract. The only thing I know and remember is they all renewed the contract back in 2022 except for IM. IM decided to not resign with starship. He is under another label for his solo stuff that he does have obligations for. But he’s still in monsta x he still writes for them and performs with them. He’s still a full blown monsta x member and if I understand correctly monsta x and the things they do is a priority to IM and his solo stuff with the other label is second. If I remember correctly. Like everything he’s doing now and touring and things like that is with the other label. Which I want to say he’s with Sony Korea.

Thank you both for this reaction :) I enjoyed it so much. And mercy from hyungwon really hits me hard. Mercy and wildfire are my favorite hyungwon songs. And Bexa IM was born in Korea from what I know. But he lived and was pretty much raised in Boston and Israel :) I don’t know if he has a duel citizenship though. It would make sense if he did.

And yes there are a few live concerts, I would love to recommend them but they are about 3 hours long so maybe one day I can split them up to recommend them hehe

Also just to answer your question about producing etc yes they are very heavily involved and have writer/ producer credits across their albums. Joohoney was co producer for Rush Hour as well as writing lyrics with I.M and also co-wrote and produced Autobahn and Just Love. Hyungwon co wrote and produced Mercy
