I received this comment on YT in response to why I don’t react to the Japanese live performances, mostly in regards to the Formula of Love album and Jeongyeon not being precent in the Korean lives
“ honestly don't mind you completely blocking the screen recording, i just want you to react to Jeongyeon's performance since she deserves the spotlight” (valid btw! she deserves EVERYTHING)
Does it bother you? To be quite honest editing the videos with filters is a pain and I’ve had QUITE a few times where I’ve had to take them out completely, delaying uploads by sometimes a full day and taking hours trying to get to upload multiple times. But if the consensus is Once would prefer lives with ALL members even if it has to be filtered….?

2024-08-31 12:36:31 +0000 UTCYeah I am an over thinker, and do they want to see your reaction only and not the video because you literally have to block any real footage of them. So I'm not sure if this helps but if uploading Japanese lives put your channel in Jeopardy I'd have to say do what you feel is right and just preface to the YouTube audience "Japanese content is a no fly zone" but you can see it on Patreon if you like. If you really want to let them see it though you can put a link to a google drive upload. Totally up to you.

2024-08-31 05:01:18 +0000 UTCUgh - I dont have a bias in Twice, I love them all, Jeongyeon is one of the most heart warming souls and her voice is amazing but its not her fault, your fault or the other girls fault she didnt perform. I've heard other YouTubers getting the same comments and it really disappoints me as a Once because it is not a fair comment. The other girls worked just as hard in that performance and I dont think Jeongyeon would want anyone to stop viewing thier performances because she had to miss out. In fact I think it hurts her to hear that. I dont read other comments in YT but I wish I did so I could defend you and other reactors because I dont mind which performance you watch as long as you are enjoying it.

2024-08-31 04:50:48 +0000 UTCI think the easiest and safest option is the way to go. Jeongyeon is my bias so it definitely sucks when she’s missing but it’s not a big deal for me since it’s such a hassle.

2024-08-31 04:50:41 +0000 UTCA better way of explaining is: You Upload the video with japanese performances on Patreon first and then you try on YT but if it gets blocked/filter then you can do that, but at least for Patrons they can watch the unfiltered videos on Patreon first (so it some kind of an early release kinda thing)

You don't need to feel pressure about doing some things, if you want to react later to those performances here is great, YouTube is not a "free world" sadly xd Could be nice if you upload the uncensored versions of your reactions here on Patreon. If you do react to those Japanese live on YouTube maybe YouTube force you to cut out the whole part so it make no sense

2024-08-31 04:29:59 +0000 UTCThe only other alternatives i can think of is of you do a double upload where you watch all japanese performances on YT (and if you have to take it out or filter fully then you do and upload the unfiltered ones on Patreon (can be for free or not). Ive seen other reactors do these but it may be a hassle

2024-08-31 04:25:29 +0000 UTCwe all love jeongyeon and in a perfect world you'd be able to react to the japan performances without it getting blocked, but because thats not the case honestly i dont think its worth the hassle since it takes up so much extra time for you. if people are super desperate to see you react to the japanese performances maybe they could just request them for feature fridays instead and that solves the problem? i know thats here on patreon and not youtube but if they wanted to see it bad enough... supporting the patreon is always an option for them! :)
