Squid Game S2 EP 6-7

Squid Game S2 EP 6-7

There's also been theories that she'll survive. Apart from the eerie statement from the shaman, k-dramas and movies rarely kills off pregnant women especially with this sort of genre cause a baby typical represents hope and a new start

Rae

Hahaha yea. I wasn't interested in the show despite the hype. But I've seen enough videos about the show since it came out, to know majority of what happened in S1. I'm here purely for Yuri hahahaha

Rae

OHHHH....honestly they could have just made it one season

Rebecca

Honestly...the idea of them killing off her character is so off putting to me...If we end up still reacting until season 3 warn me if they do

Rebecca

WAIT! you didn't watch season 1?!

Rebecca

Huh...and I was for sure thinking they passed out forks randomly but I think that makes more sense!

Rebecca

I very much agree with all your points here!

Rebecca

Final comment: About 8 hours ago, Yuri's IG follower has reached 5mil! That's about 3.5mil increase. Wakeone better do their job for once and promote Yuri, and give her a decent comeback this year please

Rae

They filmed S2 and S3 together, and all filming has already ended, and it's been confirmed both in the post-credits of EP7 and interviews that S3 will be released this year. On youtube, they posted the post-credit scene as a clip and in the description they actually put I believe 27 or 28 June as the release date of S3. The video was later deleted and re-uploaded with the date remove.

Rae

When the news of Yuri's casting came out, we all thought that her character may not be one who lasts long. So for Junhee to still be alive in that state that she is up till this point is rewarding to us fans already LMAO I did not watch S1 at all and I'm honestly only watching squid game now for Yuri

Rae

You should look at the post-credits again. There's a very very short teaser of S3 hidden in it and there's a lot of theory on what that points to. I'm just refusing to acknowledge the theories because the majority are pointing towards the grandma or Jun-hee possibiy not being able to survive that game

Rae

I think they gave everyone forks, just whether or not the players kept it. Junhee was using a fork when she was eating the kimbap too, that's when I realised the killing game is gonna start cos why would they give forks for kimbap. That and the fact the the coke was in glass bottles just screams killing time

Rae

About Young-mi's death: The amount of hate I've seen people giving Crypto guy hahaha I do think that there was no time at all. Young-mi was still on the ground when the countdown was at 3, crypto guy pushed into the room at the count of 2. And Young-mi only got to the door a few seconds after the door was locked. We can't fault crypto guy for wanting to survive, but I think it's also clear that Young-mi as a character wouldn't last long since they had given us nothing about her backstory. And if we are to put blame on someone for her death, I would choosethe guy who shoved the group of men out causing them to push Young-mi too. And in a larger scheme of things, I can argue that Hyun-ju is also partly to blame because she voted 'O' that led to the game.

Rae

The thing about shamans, at least portrayed in Korean dramas and movies, is that they are half-crazy and half-prophets. So the Shaman looking at Junhee and tell Gi-Hun essentially 'this is why you've lived longer than you should have, this is why you're here' has a lot of viewers theorizing that in S3, Gi-Hun will make a sacriface or a play to save Junhee
