"You'll be spectacular," she assured her friend as she took her wand out and began mumbling the spell in a low voice.
The magic built, holding everyone in the room in it's sway. With a final flourish Geraldine waved the spell in a wide arc before theatrically pointing the tip at her intended target. At that moment, a fly settled on Geraldine's nose and she unconsciously shifted the focus.
"Oops," was all Geraldine could think to say.
