Viktoria hadn't forgotten about the transformation of the previous month. Just in case, she took a day off to get a three day weekend. She didn't know what to expect. Would she become a snake again? Like last time? She'd always been scared of snakes as a child. They were cold and slimy. Being one for three days taught her a few things about snakes. They were only cold when they couldn't warm themselves and they were silky not slimy. Still, she didn't want to become one again. Getting around had been a problem.
She stayed up as late as she could on the night she expect the curse to revisit her. But just after 2AM, she drifted off to a trouble sleep of swimming in an ocean and being chased by orca and sharks.
As she awoke the next morning, she stretched and felt the strange unfamiliarity of her body again. This time she was mostly a seal. She was glad she didn't have to stay in the water as seals could and did spend a great deal of time on land. Still the way a seal got around on land wasn't exactly graceful ...
