Be A Pet (Snail)
Added 2024-04-27 13:42:44 +0000 UTCShe'd heard the term "Be a pet" so many times since she'd emigrated. Any time anyone wanted something she was reluctant to do, out it came. This time though, it was different. The old woman waved a wrinkled hand in her direction and the world changed. When things stopped growing around her, she realised a number of things. She was now tiny was the first observation. There was a sickening change to her visual system, too. It was as if she had extra eyes that swung about looking in directions other than the direction she was looking. Finally, she twisted about to discover she was now a huge snail from the waist down. The old woman cackled as she tossed her into a sack along with a number of other creatures.
