She'd never have thought to do it but the process was guaranteed reversible. She sat in the booth by the sea and suddenly had what her Dad had called a "brain fart". "I wanna be one of those half fish woman thingies ... you know." Then she paused, struggling to remember the word. The machine, taking her her long pause as the end of her command began the process.
When it was finished, she found herself in the water but not as the sexy mermaid she'd hoped for. She'd try again at a later date but first she had to spend 2 weeks as a fish. The machine couldn't change her back for 14 days ...
