Added 2021-10-05 16:41:33 +0000 UTCSorry this is so late, things have been a bit crazy for me. Was hoping to start a job to make some supplemental income and maybe save to do full time work here, but that kinda imploded.
Anyways, now that my schedule is suddenly much more free. I'm going to spend this week tidying up Chitinous Carnival's code base. The 0.3.X update was a massive change. Lots of things re-written, lots of new things created, and lots of bugs that escape the game and got into the code.
Additionally, I had mentioned that I had plans to implement a new parasite system. While the current system works, it isn't flexible enough. Since each parasite is just a static image set, I can't have multiple infestations. And even if I were to prevent multiple infestations, I would need to create a "parasite rejected" scene for every sequence. Therefore, this seemingly simple approach would actually produce a ton of work in the long run. So, my plan is to basically turn you body parts into a sort of Tamagotchi like screen. It'll make a lot more sense when I actually implement it.

Unfortunately, I don't have to much of an interest in watersport in and of itself. So, it wouldn't be much of my focus as I expand on the game.
