Next week (if everything goes well) version 0.3 of the game is scheduled for release! πŸŽ‰
I’ll be giving you a short summary of everything that’s coming in 0.3 so you have a good idea of what’s ahead.

Also, there will be no devlog next week since it’s release time. I’ll be focusing on the patch notes and making sure everything is good to go.

πŸ“–New content for version 0.3

So far, I’ve added 15,000 words to the game, which is right on track with my goal per version!
It will probably feel bigger than 0.2. Why? Because this version’s content is more linear and doesn’t branch into as many scene variations as 0.2. But don’t worry, your choices are just as important if not even more heheh.

But why the slight drop in word count?
Presentation and writing quality got a lot more attention this time. That means I spent more time polishing and refining scenes, which naturally produces less content than if I focused only on quantity but the trade-off is worth it.

⚠️Content itself (Mini Spoiler – especially if you haven’t finished v0.2 yet)

• The Adrian conflict at the end of beer pong, which can be resolved (or not) in multiple ways.

• The end of the night segment.

• Multiple β€œend of night” outcomes. For now, you can spend the last moments with Harry, Matt, or Diego (the top-voted picks).

I had so much fun writing these scenes, and both Viv and Alex seemed to really love them as well.

🎡Music & Sounds

• 11 new music tracks from various artists and studios (only 1 hasn’t been used yet πŸ˜›).

• 66 new sound effects (yep, you read that right).

This version was intense in terms of image creation and editing.

• 32 total images, with at least 14 variations (day/night versions, different arrangements, lighting changes, etc.).

• These variations take a lot of time as I manually paint light and filters in Photoshop to achieve the effect I want. It’s a lot of work, but I’m really happy with the results.

• New expressions for Matt (by Alex).

• A new expression for Diego.
  

(The images I posted as an example is the basic bedroom in the Trueclash Admission Contest dorms. There are a total of 10 images of bedrooms like this, why are there so many?... Not for that you perverts <.<)

Still a work in progress, but lots has been added (most of it already available in the free v0.2.5 release):

• Dynamic textbox that changes color depending on who’s speaking. Prettier and easier to read.

• Choice menu update: choice bars now match the default color scheme, and Decision Echo choices are highlighted in gold.

• Small updates to the main menu.

Updated credits and end screen.
