(kidding obviously but love your sense of humor). Serious note, the bit with Coach and Saracen at the party after the game was Coach being worried about Mrs. Coach working with the mayor. This is the early 2000s in very traditional small town Texas and Coach knows (though he doesnβt agree with it) that his wife helping a lesbian run for mayor could impact his position as Coach. Attitudes have changed a lot since this series was filmed but thatβs surely why he didnβt give Saracen the time of day.
