2025-05-15 19:17:32 +0000 UTCThe Milwaukee Brewers have their influence all over this movie. The radio announcer is played by real-life Brewers radio announcer Bob Uecker. He's only part-time now considering he's 90 years old but he's just as funny in real life as he is in this movie. The inside stadium scenes are all filmed in the Brewers former home, Milwaukee County Stadium. It used to exist right next to where American Family Field (the Brewers current home) stands now. The Yankees first baseman Haywood is played by former Brewers pitcher Pete Vuckovich. I'm glad you guys liked the movie! It's a classic sports comedy.
