So I watched again and I thought I'd answer some of your questions. First, about their jobs - this is their day job. Well, Tom is involved in performance coaching to some extent, but this is at least advertising for that. They have corporate sponsors as climbers, and they also run a youtube channel and an equipment company based on their climbing. The first bridge they were on - I'm pretty sure they've done it. A lot of that early bridge stuff was taken in bits and pieces from their youtube channel. Tom climbs it in this video, but I don't think it's the same day as the footage they used in Bridge Boys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGqUm3wQM-E. Reel Rock - I was trying to find a good Wide Boyz video rather than thinking about Reel Rock. I think that's basically a series of documentaries, so there isn't much need to watch them in order. There's probably a lot there that you could react to, if you want to find more videos out of left field. Cams - There are actually a lot of good shots of the cams they were using, but they were mostly shown before you were asking questions about them. You can often see them hanging off their harnesses in their fully open state. When they were talking about colors, those are different sizes of cam device - they use that as one way to describe crack width (golds vs blues etc). The cams look a bit like an anchor, but they have a trigger that rotates the four lobes into a kind of teardrop profile that makes them narrower. You put them into the crack and then let them expand back. The outside edge of each lobe grips against the side of the crack. They can hold a surprising amount of weight if they are placed well, but can slip out if they are misused. Here's a good youtube video that goes into cams and cam placements early on, if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Asem0saSjmU - it's a youtube collab between a skill learning channel and Pete from the WideBoyz about trad climbing. It and the sequel video are worth a reaction themselves.

Yeah it seems like the perfect episode, great choice. We really enjoyed this!

It’s here! I’ve been looking forward to it. I didn’t just choose it because you guys are British, but that was part of it. I was actually originally thinking of a different Wide Boyz movie as a starter, but this was a bit shorter and got into the climbing faster. I thought it did a good job of giving enough explanation in the beginning without getting bogged down. It’s also kind of its own self-contained thing, with a nice combination of athletic achievement and silliness.
