Rest In Peace, MustachedBain

 My dear watchers, friends, patron members, and fans. It is with a great sorrow that I have learned that artist MustachedBain, has tragically passed away due to Fatal Insomnia.

For those who do not know, it is an prion  disease of the brain that is fatal in which death occurs in 12-18  months of getting it and there is no known cure. He had never informed  me of this, nor did I learn of his passing until just under an hour ago  from a friend. MustachedBain was the artist of my "Judas Heist" comic series and the One Shot comic "Everyone's Going To Abuse This...".

We  were even working on a comic called "My Dragon Children" in which  Fluttershy was raising three dragon kids that she adopted. It had been  two pages in and I had been posting them on patreon with plans to  release the whole thing on DA when it was finished. In honor of his  memory I will be posting both pages tomorrow on Deviant Art either  before or after work. The last I spoke to him was last Friday, informing  him I had sent the payment for the second comic that day and would be  sending the next script for page 3 sometime this weekend (I had  forgotten to give it to him now that I think about it). Again, I had no  knowledge of this illness he had nor had he shown any hints of it or  told me. Perhaps it was intentional that he didn't tell me, but I guess  I'll never know. I do not know if my work was the last art he ever did  (he had finished the second page on the 10th of January), and a part of  me doesn't know how to feel about that (Sorrow, guilt, or something  else, I don't know).

I would ask that you pray for his soul into  God's hands as he rests by his side. I ask that you say a prayer for  his family and friends and to remember him and his work. I ask that  maybe you leave a message on his DA page. I will be posting both of the  pages tommorrow, and I have no plans to continue it nor seek another  artist to do the comic as I feel that would be dishonoring his memory.
