Might be too "simpleton" theory but to me it feels like the AI overlord-pregnant-whatever mommy is covering up for the kids. During the scene he was climbing the wall on the robot cleaner thingy you couldnt see them nor the robot (hence I dont think they have some kind of invisiblity or its baby related). Also hiding them on cameras in the incubation room. Plus I feel like it was the AI that sent the naked girl picture to the other kid because she said it wasnt her. Maybe its like trying to revolt against the system aka people running that place and make these kids "corrupted"/deviant and try to damage how that facility functions? Starting false alarm in different place so they wouldn't get found out by the guy about to walk in to the incubation room etc.

Loved the reaction to Heavenly Delusion, read the manga after the previous chapter and it only gets wilder. Also, what they meant by Maru-touch is the thing he did to the bird monster in episode 1, he touched it and it died. (Just clarifying because you seemed a bit confused about it.)
