Helck Episode 4 Live Reaction (FULL)

I have no idea WTF is happening and I'm SO EXCITED to figure it out. Seems like Helck knew killing the angel would activate something worse maybe? so many questions!

Helck Episode 4 Live Reaction (FULL)

Comments

We know less than 1 percent of the world and it's history.

Nah, I'm just referring to how everytime you guessed that Helck would save the day, the story moves along without his interference. Not only was he not particularly fighting on either side for specific reasons yet to be revealed, he's also done nothing to really alleviate the situation (Couldn't quite save anne from the portal). It's quite the approach to have the MC be all powerful only to be passive when things actually hit the fan.

We the audience do actually have quite the clear perspective though. It's clear that the demons and their castles were containing the toxins as explained last episode. Edil himself admitted that the transformation into the heroes robs humans of their intellect/personality and it was also painful. Then you have the multiple demon lords who sacrificed themselves to protect their subjects. I'd have to disagree that we know nothing about this world lol.

Trusting who is good or bad based on one side's perspective despite knowing nothing about this world doesn't seem like the best idea.

I mean I literally said as much 1 second later

lol I understand you love the protagonist, but characters in this story do not seem to need saving every second. Vermilio has done most of the heavy lifting this episode against the threats.

The biggest standout info dump to me was when Edil said the transformation was painful. Helck also mentioned that he didn't expect Edil to retain his personality. What are these humans doing to themselves for power lol? Almost forgot to add, Vermilio says here that humans betrayed the demons multiple times in the past. I assume there's almost no question as to who the villains are in this story?
