because we haven't seen it in a hot minute and there's like 30 characters we focus on per arc so I forget most details until reminded as a lot of it blends together for me(i read all of bleach in like a month it's all a jumbled blur tbh). same reason I get excited when I see a titan transformation we haven't seen in a long time in aot. im not going to remember every character 100% so it's a fun surprise when i see them again as it's fresh and exciting for me since I don't remember half the details for most characters. I couldn't tell you what Ishida's bow looks like or half of what it can do off the top of my head as there's too much to remember in something like this so it will often feel new or exciting, I don't think that's a bad thing I have fun watching. tbh be happy I remember more than 4 characters names lmao
