2023-08-13 21:08:20 +0000 UTCFinally it's here! The finale of volume 1. All things considered I'm grateful they spent 6 episodes on vol1 and their efforts for the fight scenes. I can forgive the very wonky cuts and horrendous background animations here and there from earlier episodes. It's almost impossible to please a source reader with a normal anime-episode schedule so I think I'm happy with the adaptation all things considered. This last scene was the hook that made me order all other volumes of the novel that were out at the time, and I've been reading them on release day since. 100% worth it imo.
