The obvious answer to the question if he is the same person is yes. They already demonstrated that the blacksmith only knew one other person who can use all three magic types and those seem an awful lot like personal features to me.

This tells us a lot about their relationship, and it's really cute. Oh, and also how it's implied that Rentt used to cook for her regularly. I ship them so much.

2024-01-20 03:51:04 +0000 UTCI think his body is really his own. I mean, when he awoke as a skeleton, he had his clothes from when he was alive. He also still had some of his equipment, such as the flasks that he used in episode 1 to collect the slime liquid.

I think it might be he just takes on some of the characteristics of his form, because if he was truly a mindless zombie with Rentt's memories, wouldn't he be feeling hunger all the time? Hungry is a zombies default state. Maybe it's a result of his using all 3 magic types, but I doubt monsters can use divinity, but he can.
