READ THIS FIRST! The Archive Index - Links to everything you might need.

Hi Guys!

This post is designed to be an easy to browse and understand list of both the various projects and videos that make up the system as well as a full list of the various benefits of being a patron!

First things first - this is how the monthly/throwback STL access works:
Basically, I need to upload your emails to MyMiniFactory manually to share the packs with you, which I generally do periodically across the month (once or twice a week generally, depending on how many new people we have - If we currently have a big intake I try to do it daily!)

To get access you need to have a MyMiniFactory account with the same email as your Patreon account. I am FAIRLY sure that I can add your email to the sharing list BEFORE you make an account with the email, but if you don't find you've had stuff shared after a week, give me a message on here and we can sort it out :)

Once thats done you should get access in your MMF library!

The WELCOME PACK is always available in the downloads section of the patreon benefits index here!

Another IMPORTANT note - the STLs are all designed primarily for resin. Some will work with FDM at least to some degree as patrons have found, but I can't guarantee it, so I wouldnt order them in FDM from a 3rd party custom print!

The Archive Index:
You can browse at will through the links here, each section is a separate post so they'll scroll smoothly and to make them easy to navigate, there's a 'back' link at the top and bottom of each one :)

RP Archive Project/Video Index - A complete list of the projects you might want to make and the videos that will help you make them, all timestamped for easy navigation and with comments from me on things I would do differently (because YouTube won't let me update old videos!)

Patreon Benefits Index - A complete list of all the cool bonus stuff you get access to as a Patron, including the Discord, Downloadables, Bonus Videos, Livestreams, Polls, and more!

Publicly free stuff (index coming soon):
The Equipment List - a complete guide on everything I use, with tons of tips and tricks for both sourcing the materials and using them! If you have questions about foam or magnets, start here :)
Guide to buying/finding cheap hobby supplies

I expect I will add more to this as the channel grows, long term I'm aiming to set up a website if I get enough funds, but this will do for now 😄

Thank you to (patron) Mat for helping me pull this together originally!

Hello, I just have a quick question about some of the STL releases. I am signed up for the Noble Rouge's membership but there are 3 posts/ STL releases that are still locked for me. They are some of the earlier posts, but I thought the Noble tier was supposed to have full access.

Jonathan Hladchuk

As long as your mmf is the same as your patreon email has been in those months you should get retroactive access to the releases in your library :)

Hello Matt! I had some trouble creating an MMF account. Now it works, but it's been some months since i joined here so i don't know if i'm still on your list. Thanks in advance and thank you for your great work.

Horst Herbert

Haha! Thanks man, glad to hear you're having fun with it :D

PensiveBadger

Matt, my guy...you got some splainin to do. 1.. I only found your channel 2 months ago (modular water). Why aren't you screaming to the top of more feeds? 2. I now have a Proxxon, so much XPS foam, a metric butt load of acrylic paint, too many tiny magnets, and a 3d printer to boot...since finding your channel...please explain. 3. I have a batch of dungeon tiles heading out to my son's D&D club shortly...I may have a very very small amount of very very localized fame heading my way on the back of your videos. How do I handle this? Couldn't be happier to be supporting you and your work. Keep posting, my good man...this money won't burn itself 😀

wookwok

Thank you very much

Jesse Lyman

Should be there now, when I grabbed the patron list on Monday mmf was down for maintenence :)

PensiveBadger

Wondering if you have had a chance to add me to my mini factory for the months downloads? I don’t see them in my library yet.

Jesse Lyman

Thank you very much!!!

Den

I upload new members at least once a week, sometimes more often, I have to do it manually :) they're designed for a resin printer, but many will work on FDM

PensiveBadger

Sorry to bother you, but should I wait for next month to get an MMF? Or is there access now? And the last question, on which printer do you print the mold and what kind of plastic do you use?

Den

Den

Empty 😅. Mail on Patreon and MMF is the same

Den

It should be in your library, in the account drop down menu :)

PensiveBadger

Thank you for your Hard Work! This is the first time I use MMF where to view the archive on this site?

Den

Just found your channel this week and I am deeply appreciative for it! While I enjoy videos from other creators and try to learn new techniques from their videos, I'm rarely able to make it completely through the entire thing. YOU, good sir, strike the perfect balance for me by detailing exactly how you accomplish your creations AND being entertaining without any over-the-top hyperbole or "dead spots" with droning tone or poor audio quality. I'm looking forward to digging in here and using your techniques to build set pieces for my players. Hope your recovery continues to go well and thank you for sharing your experience and insight with us all.

Are You Us

you can vote for them as a throwback if you're a noble patron :) the poll post should be fairly recent

Hi Matt! I love your ideas, can't wait to try them out for myself. I just joined and I got a bunch of useful stls on myminifactory. However I'm missing the 1 inch cube and stairs stls. Is there a way to get those too?

13alazs

New time watcher and hooked on the videos already! Making my first batch of floor and wall tiles over the weekend! Cannot wait to use them in my D&D game the weekend after. Keep up the amazing work!

AshF

Thank you man :) they're linked in the benefits index I believe under downloads, should link to the sewer /sloped wall video

PensiveBadger

First off. Welcome back. And your work is prestine. I just joined at the Questgiver level and was wondering where to find the STL files for your special jigs talked about in your last video.

Christopher White

Hi, absolutely incredible work. Just tried the foam roller, absolutely awesome. Especially liking the job on the Lizard culture set and the veneer idea in general, would love to see more of this concept. Putting it up tonight to print!

godlike Dndis

Awesome. Thank you for explaining that. I am a noob when it comes to 3D printing.

Ryan Bell

Rotating causes the problem you mention, but actual mirroring in chitubox should create the right side facing the right way :) so don't spin it around, there's an option on the left for 'mirror'?

PensiveBadger

Hey Matt! Love the new videos, and glad you are doing okay. I am greatful for all the amazing work you have put in, so we can make better TTRPG experiences for our players, and proud to be a supporter of your work. I do have a question though... I have the Sewer STL pack as a Noble Patron, but there appears to be only one half of the sewer grate side doors in the pack there are supported and supported swwer grate doors, but only for left side doors, and straight doors. I wanted to put two side doors together to make the ones featured in your video, but that is not possible at the moment because even if I printed two left side doors and flipped one, the details would be missing on the side facing out for the flipped door, and there would be magnet holes exposed to the player. Is there anyway we can get an updated STL pack for the sewers that has both the left and right side sewer grate doors? Thanks for all you do. :)

Ryan Bell

A lot of people don’t realize there is a piece of thin plastic on the face of the pink stuff.

Colm

I use the 1" XPS foam from Home Depot (yah, the pink stuff). It basically the same price as the 1/2" stuff here and it is twice the material and overall the same thickness, while the 1/2" stuff varies in a sheet (always at least 1/2", but if I have to cut it, I might as well get the 1" stuff). Can get both in 4'x8' sheets here in the Southern US (can't get the thicker stuff (2" or 3" stuff), since there is no need for it here due to the temperature...)

Thomas Snider

Thanks for the comment I was just googling if I can use this. As I can get a large sheet for cheap.

Alexander Trinca

I've also found that the thickness of the 1/2" sheets varies by as much as a 16th of an inch, which can lead to tiles feeling mismatched in thickness.

Bryan Cox

It's true about using only the "inside" of the pink Corning XPS. I learned that the hard way on my 1st set of dungeon tiles. Either they coat the sheets of pink foam with some kind of sealant or the the factory slicing process is altering the foam somehow. The factory surface will NOT take texture well, but the inner foam does. I'm only cutting my sheets down from 2" now, as well. The 1/2" is great for cutting into individual bricks and scatter terrain projects, etc.

Bryan Cox

agree. in USA, I get from Home Depot... but the sheets are BIG!!! over all MUCH cheaper. I Buy the 2 inch Pink foam and then cut to my 1/2" thickness. Surprisingly this 'inside' foam take to making texture much better than the 1/2" foam produced to be 1/2" thick. Amazon is another place, but can be pricey. Outside of that Matt has done a great job of putting a list of where to get supplies.

Scott Wygal

In America 250 xps foam is good but really pink. Otherwise look in his equipment list for what he uses

Rob Lee

If you take a look at the equipment list in the description of every video there's a full guide, links and tons of info :)

PensiveBadger

Hi, I'm a new patreon and starting out as a nube. My first order of businesses is getting the foam. Can you tell me the type and where to get it?.

Red Lancer

Thank you for the support that makes it remotely possible 😄

PensiveBadger

This is a great list - thank you

Robert Douglas

Glad it helps :)

PensiveBadger

Thanks to both of you! That makes crafting easier! Really cool list and description of each video! Cool.
