Stairblock compatibility and baking the banks

Hi Guys!

Progress continues slowly on the Lava tiles, mainly due to Covid fatigue. I seriously hate this, but I am continuing as fast as I can without making it worse, update on that at the bottom :/

In these photos you can see the little rocky outcrops I've designed from plaster rocks and clay that will be magnetised for stairblock and accessory (such as gibbets) connection, so you can add features over the lava!

There's also an image here of the banks baked - I've updated my use of the plaster riverbed edges here to be closer to the bank and blended together using clay, I think it worked out really well!

Finally there's an example of the modular corner pieces that give a ton of flexibility. These will sit loose on the lava, connected to other tiles using magnets, which means you can remove them to turn a T junction into an open lake side, or add in a long straight bank version on top to make a river section...

I'm still very excited about the potential of these! I'm just sorry its taking longer than usual :/

Covid wise, I tried working a full day Monday. It was tiring but do-able...until I collapsed on Tuesday, which ate the full day.

Since then I've been running half days, which is still tiring but so far doesn't knock me out the day after - fingers crossed this gets better soon!

I hope you guys are having a better time than me, and I'll try and keep active on discord, which is a little less draining than recording/crafting. See you all soon!

I appreciate the perspective Robert. I'm experimenting with taking larger breaks the second I feel weak, instead of working the half day all in one burst. See if that helps :/

I remember when I had Covid, the fatigue was unbelievable. My advice is "Don't push it", and you will recover much quicker. The fatigue WILL linger, but eventually it will dissipate. Hang in there.

You've got to pace yourself. Marathon runs typically require more rest and you end up getting less done in the long run. Take care!
