Added 2021-10-09 16:20:01 +0000 UTCIt took me months after it won a Patreon poll, but I finished this full, lineless digital painting of Valerra the Alolan Ninetales finding herself underpaw of Aerisis.
Yup, the highly rude and disrespectful Valerra who usually lives her life in indulgence is about to have some bad karma happen to her. ;3c
A substantial amount of work went into this and a lot of experimentation with layer filters, particularly with her high heels and the pawpads.
The atmospheric effects are pretty wonderful, despite taking about 10 minutes to add. The traditional artist in me feels it is so cheaty. @.@’
Overall, I want to say this picture took about 15 hours or so to do? Practically a contestant for a “Big One” of the year picture in terms of time for 2021!
