Poll - January 2024 Small Plugin

Small plugins are plugins that are not expected to require more than 1 months worth of work. Please note that since development can have unexpected surprises, there is no guarantee that this plugin will be completed in one month or less, just that in 99% of cases it should be completed in the given time frame.

For January's small plugin, would you like to see...

FaceSet Generator - This would be similar to my IconSet Generator. It would take individual face files (either 1 face or 1 face on an empty sheet of 8) and combine them into a sheet full of 8 faces each. This would be a developer tool meant to help you get your face sets into a full sheet, as they may have been downloaded or generated individually.

Skip Title - This plugin would allow you to skip the title screen and go straight to a new game, where a title sequence could be evented. It would also provide the option to load the most recently used save file.

Repel and Lure - Add an effect to an item that can raise or lower the frequency of encounters, such as an item that halves or removes encounters for 100 steps. I would also look to allow a completely custom encounter rate (0-100%) instead of the default encounter half (50%)/none (0%) for equipment.

Window Cursor - Add a window cursor to selectable and command windows. It would be an image you can choose to use as a cursor, with an x/y offset, and a few other configurable options. I would also look into adding animations for the cursor and a mirror option to show the cursor on both sides of the selectable option, but most likely these would be future alpha updates.

New Game Plus - This plugin would help make a New Game Plus feature. It would mark a save file as "new game plus" for both default save screens and CGMZ Save File. It will allow you to choose which switches and variables to reset, as well as which switches/variables are turned on or to a specific number for use in the new game plus playthrough. Options for actors would include keeping stats, inventory, equipment, etc. or to start fresh.

Multiple Inventories - Add a way to have more than one inventory. In case the party splits up, you would be able to create a new inventory for the party and switch back and forth between inventories by plugin command. It would also support merging inventories into one, for when the party reunites.
