Patreon revamp

Hello! I'll try to keep things short but just in case I'll add a tldr at the end if you don't want to read everything. Apologies for being away for a while. I really wanted to have something to go along with this update to how I handle patreon and I ended up getting fixated on it. And that is that I've started working on a doujin. It's about Ollie :0 It's pretty barebones at the moment as it's just the roughs and I haven't added the dialogue yet but I'll be posting it in a separate post after this one if you want to check it out so far. So that's part of what's taken me so long to get back into things. The other half is that originally it was going to be a Fauna doujin. I got pretty far into it but was actually getting depressed while making it so I figured it probably wouldn't be something people would want to see lol

As for the revamp. I originally made this page because I was occasionally getting asked by people if they could support me in some way. It was and still is very flattering but I'm pretty clueless about these sorts of things. I guess I thought of it as something where if people like what I make enough it could be a sort of donation page? But I see it a bit differently to that now. One thing I've been sure of though, is that I don't want to paywall what I make. However it started to feel like posting things on patreon itself felt kind of redundant. Like, why post it here, it'll just be on twitter anyway. Add to that, last year just overall was not great for me and I've let a lot of things slide that I shouldn't have. So I don't know if it's the best solution but I'm going to start posting things that I make on here one week early before posting them to twitter and bluesky. It keeps things from being paywalled but is also a sort of early access bonus I guess? We'll see how it goes and let me know what you think about it

So aside from just lack of posting, I missed quite a few monthly timelapse videos so I'll be doubling up on monthly timelapse videos until I catch up on the ones I've missed. I also haven't been very organized so I haven't been keeping track of high res versions to post each month. A lot of my old stuff is trapped on my last PC so I don't have access to it anymore. I'm just going to try to stick on top of it from here on out. And then polls as well I haven't been doing but I'm not sure how to approach them to be honest. Maybe just tie them in with the monthly timelapses so you guys can decide what gets drawn for that? I'm open to other ideas as well. Lastly, I'm opening two more of the BEEG slots for anyone interested in that.

One of my new year resolutions was basically that I want to get my shit together and really try to make drawing into something I can do full time. I dunno if that'll happen but that's why I wanted to work on this first doujin to show to both you guys and myself that I'm going to work hard to make that happen. Plus it's something I've wanted to do for a while and it's definitely never going to get done if I'm always waiting to be "good enough" to make one. Although it does feel like I just burned a lot of time instead :x

Anyway, that's pretty much it. Not sure how much of a revamp it is but thank you for supporting me all this time, I really do appreciate it
