It could also be that Clay has a bit of self-loathing and his deepest wish was that Reed wouldn't be ashamed to be with him, creating a world where nobody would feel shame except for Clay.

All Clay wanted was to be with Reed so why would it create this reality where everyone is super horny? Shouldn’t it just be a reality where sexuality isn’t an issue anymore? Maybe since Reed wished that things between him and Clay weren’t so awkward it transformed reality so nobody felt any shame anymore. Would explain “Prude” Clay, after all this isn’t the reality he wished for.
