“Halt, beast!” At my demand, the feline apparition ceased in her tracks. Imperiously, I loomed over the monster as she peered at me with golden eyes. Triumphantly, I presented her to her  downfall. “Behold! The foodstuff you enjoy the most!” The package of exquisite fish and rice in my hands caused her apathy to disappear. “You will tell me of my Master’s day, lest you go without this magnificent feast!”

For a moment, we warred with one another. 

Her will was formidable, and I could not inflict violence upon her, so I could not lower her  to the standard I desire! However, with my purchase, I tempted her sin of Gluttony! Now, I shall procure from her the information I desire, surmounting the challenge of my foul “vacation” once more!

As I expected, her will broke as she continued to look upon the foodstuffs in my hand.

Ears drooping in shame, the feline apparition gave into temptation.

“Okay.” The statement was dripping in agonized defeat! It was thoroughly lacking in emotion, such was the feline’s attempt to stave off her shame and despair! “Let’s eat it together while I talk!”

Aha! I see! Her shame was deeper than I imagined! Not only did she accede to my demand, but she also couldn’t bear to fully consume the cause of her downfall! Indeed, she was in the palm in my hand!

My Master’s day shall be recounted to me in full detail, and I’ll consume a fine foodstuff while doing so! 

Truly, my victory is unparalleled!

The feline apparition led the way for me, as is her proper place as the defeated, and she began to recount Master’s day to me as we walked! Despite her shame and despair, the beast had a measure of grace as to be so talented in her defeat!

“Song-sama spent the day with Argento, today.” The beast referred to my Master appropriately, so I found no reason to await the day my Master would rescind his alliance with her. “We helped kill a few Chimera for the Holy Church.”

“Mhmm! As expected, this one’s Master has thoroughly captured the hearts and minds of the foolish curs who once fought against Master!” Jubilations are in order, for my Master will surely utilize his former foe for his leisure until they are broken! Even now, he uses them to attract his foes so he may kill them easier! Ah, but wait! How did he do such a thing! “Beast! I demand you tell me how this one’s Master did such a thing without me or mine!”

What a truly horrific realization I’ve happened upon! My Master was fighting without me or my fellows! It will only be a matter of time before he decides that we’re unneeded—

“Song-sama missed the three of you. He found using Magic and the Sage Arts to be an immense inconvenience!” Praise be to this magnificent beast before me! Oh, how I could hold her against me forever, such was the feline apparition’s grandeur! The very words that issued from her maw, which would partake in the gifts I offered her, lifted my spirits beyond the heavens! “Ah, you scratch ears well, Occisor-sama.”

“Nay, beast! You will refer to me as Primi-san from now on, and I shall call you Shirone!” The feline apparition appreciated my words, as she began to purr between my breasts! Or, was that a result of my ministrations upon her fluffy scalp? Regardless, I treated my bringer of good tidings with great care! As I always have! “Go on, then! Tell me more about how this one’s Master’s missed her so!” 

“Song-sama missed how easily he’s able to cut through thousands with you.”

“Ah! Please, leave such compliments for last! My body’s heart cannot take such immense gratitude without preparation, Shirone-chan!”

“…Song-sama missed your constant, protective presence by his side, then.”

“Shirone-chan, t-that’s an even better compliment than the last! My heart shall burst if you continue striking at me with such ferocious gratitude!”

“…Song-sama said he’d have liked to eat lunch with you?”

“Ah, my heart! It cannot go on!” My face felt more heated than the moment of my final tempering within the heart of the Sun! The body my Master gave me could barely contain the joy I felt! Never have I felt more accomplished in the entirety of my existence. “This is better than the day I’d inflicted genocide upon all the Demons! This one’s Master missed an opportunity to dine with her! I could cut through the whole of reality with such praise empowering me!”

“Occisor-sama, please do not do that.”

“But, Shirone-chan, how am I to express my joy!?”

“I do not know, Occisor-sama, but please do not injure reality.”

“It shall return to normal within a few decades, I promise! I shall cut reality only very slightly!”

“Occisor-sama, no.”

“Shirone, yes!”

Thankfully, through Shirone’s impeccable temper and grand ability for speech, I was able to comport myself after all the joy that suffused me. Truly, this one’s Master had chosen a stalwart individual to stand by his side! She would surely serve and service him well in the future!

“Shirone-chan, I approve of your inclusion in Master’s retinue!” Normally, I did not trust those who were not Ascended Blades, but Shirone is an exception! I had felt Master’s gratitude in her deliverance of compliments! I was also sure Master would’ve stopped me from expressing my joy as I’d wished to! “Truly, you are worthy of bringing my Master great joy!”

“…” Ah, Shirone fully understood the meaning of my words! Her features have become flushed and scarlet! How grand! Mhmm! I cannot help but bring her close once more whilst tending to her scalp and ears! Truly, she was adorable, pure, and innocent! A perfect treasure for my Master to treasure! “Thank you, Occisor-sama.”

Together, we consumed the gift I’d purchased for her!

As always, foodstuffs tasted better in good company!

I looked forward to the day I’d eat with her and Master!
