Hey everyone,

I don’t usually post at this hour, but a curveball landed yesterday and I need a few extra days and wanted to explain ASAP why.

As if the moving situation that I've mentioned wasn't stressful enough 😭 my day job has been hit with major financial troubles - unexpectedly.

Rumours started after I made the release commitment, and yesterday I got confirmation that most of the company is being laid off.

This isn't a "woe is me" post, and I'm not going full-time Patreon (I actually love my day job!).

But I do need at least a few days to handle the logistics and next steps.

The good news: The update is nearly complete. I have >15k polished words with most CGs done, I expect fully polished release to be around 20k total - which should feel pretty good for the time-frame.

New target: Friday

This keeps it close to the weekend timeline, and I know many of you prefer having new content for weekend anyway.

For those wondering about the project's future - this shouldn't change anything. I will keep developing it alongside whatever new job I land. This is just short-term chaos and I actually started planning my next move as soon as the rumors hit.

I know I am not the only one facing similar challenges this year, hope you are able to stay afloat!
