💘 Ponysona Timeline!! + old art

LAST POST FOR THE DAY! Aaaand of course, it’s more ponies! 😅

I had the idea yesterday to make a ponysona timeline, and after sketching it last night, I finished it up today after my therapy session! I want to make a fursona timeline too, but I’ve had a lot more fursonas than I’ve had ponysonas so that would be a large commitment LMAO.
This was S O so much fun to draw though!! It’s so cool for me to see all of these gals together like this. I’ve never properly connected with any of them until I made Horse, and you can kinda tell when i started getting close with the type of design I needed to connect, it’s kinda cool!

First up from right to left, we have a girl who might look familiar to some of you guys! This was Speakerboxx’s first design way back in 2011 when I made her! She was an earth pony back then, and when you realise that Hyper was my fursona when I made Speakerbox, her palette starts to make more sense. I drew her on my old iPod touch when I was in bed one night, with her name coming from an Outkast album I was obsessed with at the time, and her cutie mark being the old iPod touch wheel!

Next in line is a pony who I don’t actually remember the name of? I know I drew her on MS Paint once, but I cannot find that at all, but I did find the first drawing I did of her which was a traditional piece i coloured with crayons! She didn’t stay around long.

after her was the most saturated pony, who was named Paint! She was designed by one of my irl friends, I was round her house and we were playing around on the old ponymaker, and she made her for me! I never really clicked with her too much, but at the time she was the closest I got and she has the second highest amount of art of any of my old pony sonas!

Next up we have Pencil Sketch! I actually kinda like her design still? A tad? That connection still wasn’t quite there, but I was getting close! I still kinda like her cutie mark design. I used to struggle with CM designs, but I think you can tell that I slowly but surely started to improve with them. 

And right before horse we have Velvet Rose! She was so so close to clicking with me, but something was off. I always suspected it was the purple in her mane, I was never really sure why I choose that colour? purple isn’t a colour I’m a huge fan of, so very bizarre choice on my part. Velvet has the most art of any of my old pony sonas, and That’s mainly bc I would colour her in on bases a LOT during college When I was bored on the computers. Before I made Horse, I thought about just bringing Velvet back, but Im glad I didn’t as I feel Horse is the perfect fit for me. Velvet is still very special to me, though, as all of these girls are! Seeing them all in a lineup like this is kinda special to me, so I’m happy I can share this, as well as the older art of them all!
