Roadmap for May 2019

Welcome to May! 

Last month, we launched the new Tutorials Tier, we sent out the free Sluglord sticker, we grew by an amazing 25%, and we had an awesome time painting. It was a banner month and I want to thank you guys for it! It's so exciting to see how far we've come in just 6 months here on Patreon! 

First off: Both Tutorials from April are now available as PDFs. I have attached them to their original posts. If people like them as PDF files I will keep doing this in future posts.

So what is happening in May? 

The Monster of the Month:  I have 2 monsters that I am torn between, The Caput Mortuum Stump and The Terror from the Sunken Depths. I can't decide which to do, so for May we are conducting a poll and you guys will decide! 

This Monster Poll is important because, not only will it determine which monster we are painting, but also what the subject of our next Tutorial will be! This month's tutorial will be a step-by-step guide on the method I have been using to paint these monsters! Watch for the Monster Poll (and drawings) to come in the next week. 

The Classic Fantasy Illustration for May will be happening later in the month. I have a massive battle scene from a major IP that I am currently working on. It is currently under NDA and I cannot share it, but if they have told me they may lift it later this month so I can share it with you. (It is awesome. Lots of mayhem and a great setting. It is one of the most fun images I've gotten to work on in a long time!) It's not 100% though, so if it doesn't work out for May I plan to share it in June instead, and for this month I will work on another scene of classical fantasy mayhem from my upcoming Sketchbooks.

And Lastly, will there be a bonus this month?? Maybe! We are almost at the $750 mark for bonus content! ...I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I've already started a traditional acryla-gouache painting that I plan to share if we hit that goal this month...  *fingers crossed*  It's been too long since I've been able to splash around with real paint, so it has been a lot of fun and I look forward to sharing it with you!
