i'm pecking at this book again, or trying to. while doing these sketches i realized that i never draw cis men anymore and it's because they're fucking Difficult to draw. i'm so used to women and twinks with soft faces, trying to draw somebody capital h Handsome with no curves is so hard!!

anyway the concept is they're childhood friends who reconnect, one grew up into an ancap local hero, the other is a millionaire tech ceo, who isn't Deliberately Evil, but is unrepentantly rich, which might as well be a sort of evil. it's about the friction that comes of hidden identities/metaphorical and literal masks. you know. that sort of thing. i never write contemporaries and i barely write cis men anymore, it's going to be a real challenge lol.
