A quiet battle rages in the desert sun

Hello all, and welcome back to Kadhizi! This week, we're taking a look at more of the city's leisure, as well as its conflicts. A strange aesthetic divide threatens to tear the community in half, and the undead ghost of a despotic ruler torments otherwise carefree gamblers.

The Borough Guide

This week, you'll read all about the rival art museums in Kadhizi, one containing treasure Cal Kensington had pillaged from the outside world, and one showcasing more avant-garde Kadhizi-made art. Next, you'll discover how genies and walkers alike gamble to add a bit of chance and intrigue to their lives. Finally, read about some of the stranger walkers in Kadhizi: a friendly mummy, and a truly wretched ghost.

Maps

This corner of Kadhizi sits directly to the south of the previous map. Explore a jovial agora where communal art studios abut beautiful homes. The casino and the rival art galleries are the clear stars of the show, though. These massive structures will be exciting destinations for any adventurers trapped in the ewer. NOTE: We're aware of some problems with the seamless nature of the Kadhizi maps. We've decide the most straightforward way to tackle this is to finish Kadhizi entirely, and then go back and fix the seams between the maps. Thanks for your patience!

Music

No new track today, however we have great news! We just passed our second patronage goal which means Will will now be writing music for every single Borough Bound release. That's right, starting with release 2 of October (the start of our exciting next city), you'll be getting brad new music every time we post. Nice!

Memory Genie | Collaboration with The Fluffy Folio

Here's yet another genie from The Fluffy Folio. Memory Genies are towering creatures, moody and introspective, with the ability to read minds and empathize with the walkers of Kadhizi. Fluffy gave us some incredible artwork for this one, and a really fun D&D 5e statblock that you are definitely going to want to bring to the table. The Fool's Lamp | Collaboration with The Griffon's Saddlebag

We've known Griff for ages now, and it's so fun to get a chance to collaborate with him for Borough Bound! He's been a big supporter of us over these past couple months, and we're so excited to showcase some of his work to all of you.
