Falthringor: Definitive Edition | Bonus Content | Map Assets

Hello all! Today, we bring to you the Definitive Edition of our borough Falthringor. This post includes some new content and some slight tweaks to old content. A summary follows!

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier can download absolutely every piece of content we've created for Falthringor by heading to the Falthringor - Everything Bundle in our Patreon Shop.

1. Patrons at the General Messenger and Chief Courier tier can now download the Definitive Edition Borough Guide! There's a table of contents, a few errors have been fixed, and (most importantly) the whole document is now one big 85-page PDF. You can grab the Definitive Edition PDF via this link.

2. All patrons can download the full suite of Falthringor VTT Tokens via this link.

3. The Falthringor Foundry module is completed! The whole city is implemented, interior maps are in place, and music + PDF are all ready to use as well. Patrons at the Chief Courier tier can grab the Falthringor Foundry Module via the Chief Courier Master Post. If you notice any issues with the Foundry module, please just ping us, and we'll make sure to edit and update ASAP!

Please note: there are two versions of the Falthringor Foundry module, one that uses the Levels module (shout-out to Ripper93 for the incredible Foundry programming), and one that does not. Generally speaking, we strongly recommend that you use the version with Levels.

4. We've got high-res maps of the town that are ungridded, seamless, and magnificent. We have two versions of the map: Original and Green. The variant map is only available to patrons at the General Messenger tier and up!

5. We've released another set of map assets! This bundle of gargoyle, statue, and grave assets includes 75 different stone decoration .pngs you can use to spice up your spooky maps. Use them as tools to build new maps of your own, whether you use DungeonDraft, Inkarnate, MS Paint, or any other map-making software. We'll be releasing new asset bundles periodcally, but only for our Chief Courier patrons!

6. We've got a few pieces of fun bonus content to help all of you finish up fleshing out your Falthringor adventure. You can download all of this bonus content via this link. The zip file includes:

7. I just want to remind you about some additional resources we have available:

We've uploaded a lot of revised links today, so if anything isn't loading, please send us a message and we'll be sure to fix it ASAP.

It's been about a year. The tavern in the bottom right still has issues with clipping. And the levels for the building in the top right are incomprehensible due to the lack of hallways.

Nebulor

We are working on it, but we're juggling a few Foundry projects at the moment. We will provide an update once we've got this fixed!

Borough Bound

Any update on a fix? I've also run into these same problems, plus a couple more, particularly with the top-right building.

Really appreciate it. I figured out that the token blocking one has something to do with a wall on a certain layer reaching from level 0 to infinity height. Somehow it is completely separate from the door wall and only shows up when certain conditions are met. I don't remember what exactly I did to make it appear. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

Hey there qwerty asdf, thanks for the heads up. We didn't run into these issues during testing, but I just confirmed everything you mentioned. We'll start editing this and let you know once we have everything sorted out. Thank you for your patience!

Hey so I became a patron of you guys just to use this map and the Levels version does not work properly. Roofs of some buildings do not disappear when a token goes inside. Certain buildings cannot be entered with arrow keys even if you completely delete the walls and doors blocking it. Many walls' vision settings are programmed to backwards so they appear impassable to a player even if you can walk right through them. Here is an album of images that showcase such problems: https://imgur.com/a/x2VFNBZ Given that it's such an impressive map, you may want to take another look at the Levels version because as it is right now, its barely even worth considering functional.
