Good points here except I will have to disagree with you about Sobel. I agree that he was instrumental in shaping the Taccoa veterans into the fighting company they became. However, the first rule of leadership is that if you are going to demand that level of perfection and skill from those under you than you MUST be able to perform at that level. He was absolutely not! Where he really failed as an instructor is that he was hard on them not to make them the best, but to make himself look important to those above him. This made him a bad leader and a bad instructor! Even though as I said I think he did do some good for the company.

Inna the watch along format took a second to get used to but it was pretty much a seamless process after that and I understand why you have to do it this way, but I just want to say good job on your reaction. Also the quote from Band Of Brothers, "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers was taken from Shakespeare's play, Henry V. It is a speech delivered by King Henry V before the Battle of Agincourt. In Band of Brothers the quote is used to reflect on the strong relationships and the sense of brotherhood formed between the soldiers of Easy Company, particularly their deep connection to one another as they face the harsh realities of war. The quote is often used here in this series to really focus on the idea that these men are not just soldiers but they consider themselves as brothers and as such would willingly sacrifice their lives for one another without hesitation. Just thought I would offfer some context here and I hope it helped clear some things up a little bit. Keep doing what you're doing and again great job on the reaction and thank you for doing it to this series and I know that war is a sensitive topic for you as it is for me being as I have seen firsthand the effects of people being involved in war being as my father was involved in Vietnam and he still to this day has night terrors and other issues related to his experience over there but I'm not going to get into the full details and I think you can understand why.

Spoiler FREE answers to questions you had. 1. Yep at the interviews in the intro, those are real Easy company veterans, the show does not tell you who they are until the very end. As this is a very true story of these real veterans who served. This is the story of Easy Company of the 101st airborne tasked with Jumping behind enemy lines several hours before D Day. 2. Yep you saw David Schwimmer, but also in this episode is Michael Fastbender. At the early stages of his acting career. 3. Sobel was very hard on these men, but he did a good job. A instructors mission is to make you hate them, so you can work together. To tear you down and build you up better and stronger than before. 4. So normal training in the military is 8 weeks long, but it took 2 years to train the 101st airborne becuase it was a strategy never done before, It was new. So they trained all the way up to the invasion on Day. 5. You asked about life insurance policy. Yeah that is a real thing and and still to this day, if you die, while in the service your family/ spouse will get money. 5. Every soldier you see on screen with a name you heard, or mentioned, represents an actual veteran. 6, Dont end the episodes too quickly, every episode at the end has quotes, citations, or commemorations to the real veterans. 7. Stephen E. Ambrose's "Band of Brothers" book this show is based from is a real life account of the lives and experiences of the men in Easy Company. He drew on interviews with veterans, their journals, and letters to create a detailed and personal narrative. In this episode, you ended it before it finished the quote. Its said: "Soldier, sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force, You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months, The eyes of the world are upon you, good luck and let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander
