December Update 🎄🍷🎁

Hello everyone, and thank you for another month of support! My gratitude knows no bounds, truly.
First of all, the new Dropbox password is 'sweater'.
Second, I mention in the post that I've been creating NFTs. I've created a collection of hand drawn, digitally painted illustrations called TITTYPUNX, which is a celebration of the female breast in all shapes, sizes and colours. They've all sold out so far, but I created some new ones recently, you can catch them (and see all the older ones) here:
https://cumrocket.io/badfantasy
It's very different from my usual type of artwork, but they're fun to make and people are buying them, so I'm happy.
See you tomorrow with PART TWO of the current series!
BFx
Thanks! They're not my usual style but they've been really fun to make.

I love hearing a raspy whisper! There probably be legitimate reasons why lots of ASMRtists have been doing it. It’s bloody popular, many people do like. No harm in trying as diverse styles as possible 😉 PS: The Tittypunx project is great. Artistic series extraordinaire 👏🏻

Thanks Keevensi 😊 honestly a few weeks ago I was in a large nightclub several drinks down, watching a DJ play with laser beams shooting everywhere, and I was thinking about my work (as you do). The idea about the voice thing popped into my mind right then, and just sort of stayed there for a few days. I'm all for allowing creators to have a vision, but sometimes I just like to ask. It's good to engage with people and understand what's working and what isn't. Your comment helps with that.

Yes, I can. I'm plotting a few other manoeuvres with that series first, but I'll put it on the list 🙂

Yo, can you make a tatted TITTYPUNX chef with sexy apron holding a knife/whisk/rolling pin?? Just sayin’👩🏻🍳

You've ask the question of your voice before and that one was regarding if you should slow down in your speech patterns. You mentioned there were some comments about that so you raised the question if you should incorporate that more into your work. Since I feel the tone in your voice with adding rasp is along the same lines, I am standing by my answer last time.
Only if the rasp is going to enhance the type of character you are aiming for and AUTHENTICALLY adds to the story you are creating I say go for it. But if it doesn't and you are doing it strictly for a trend esthetic, I think the forced effort will come across and hurt not only your work, but your already yummy voice.
And in case you forgot what I said last time, your already delicious flavor is what has caught our attention, retained it and keeps us paying for more. Why would you want to change what sets you apart from the pack and gets you noticed only to be another dime a dozen?
So, only if the project requires it go for it! If not, please don't over produce it just because it's what everyone else is doing. Plus you already have a vibration in your natural voice that is so yummy. 💜💜

You don’t need to have a growly voice to make my spine tingle. You do you, Boo Boo 🤗.

That's the concern with crypto. I try to keep most of my investments in that area on blockchains that are much more environmentally friendly than Bitcoin or Ethereum. Those ones are disgustingly power-hungry, but other ones are much less so. The place I create NFTs isn't too harmful, but the trade-off is that it's not a very popular currency, so I'm not earning as much as I could with the bigger networks. I'm happy with that trade-off, though.
If Patreon's crypto endeavours were on an environmentally friendlier network, I'd probably try it out.

I'm very happy there's no ASMR police because I should have been thrown in ASMR jail long ago
That's good feedback though, thank you. I think it's not just about getting closer to the microphone, although that's part of it. It's also switching to a lower register while doing something with my vocal chords... I'm not sure how to describe it. But I think it's best when used sparingly and selectively.

It seems to be an intentional thing some of them do permanently when recording, rather than vocal fry. I personally am not a fan, it sounds a bit contrived to me, but I was just curious how others felt. I think I'll continue as normal.

I'll probably continue as I already do, just using it when required. Was just curious what people's thoughts were, but that's good feedback, thanks Eric

im pretty sure NFTs are really bad for the environment, like they use a lot of electricity and the process of creating crypto also does, so I don't like all that, personally. I enjoy your normal speaking voice, and you can use whatever vocal intonation you need, depending on the situation.

I like your natural voice better than raspy. You can mix it up since you’re the artist but I like your natural voice better than other people’s ASMR voices. Stay original 💙 You are unique in a good way.

As for the growly voice: I was paying attention to the audio in the first place, but when you switched, my mind snapped to attention. If you chose to use it it could be highly effective if strategically placed, especially in Dom type situations.
There is one thing I'm unsure about though. Since I always wear headphones when listening to your audios, I'm not entirely sure if the reaction to the growl was because of the texture of the sound changing or simply because your voice got really close. XD
Baseline though, if you want to play around with something I'd say go for it! Don't do it if you feel like you need to just because that's what a lot of other people do. I know I struggle with that a lot in how I use my voice but also since my writing style is different, I've worried a lot that it doesn't fit in. But there is no ASMR police out there waiting to pounce if you decide to do your own thing. :D You doing what makes you happy also makes us happy. I can't count how many times I found myself grinning by just hearing you smile or your laughter because it sounds so genuine. Having perfect seeming audios is great, but I know I'd rather have you be happy and doing things in the way you enjoy at the forefront. {I'm really sorry I type too much, it's a bad habit. ): }

I'm sorry you couldn't go to see your family but I'm glad you aren't spending the holidays alone. Also, you are amazing and you deserve so much love and support. Hope you feel better and have an amazing holiday bad fantasy! 🥰

For me it's a no-brainer: natural voice - it slides down so easily. You can rely on situational and lexical choices for the frissons, plus our imagination...

Like others have said, your natural voice is unique, and it's the main reason I chose to subscribe. IMO, the raspy voice gets tiresome after a while.

I don't listen to many other ASMRtists (you and Redacted spoiled me, lol) but I'm curious if that raspy type voice you're referring to is intentional or just a case of vocal fry? Personally, your natural voice is what brought me here. Exploring other voices for context and characterization makes sense, but please don't feel pressured to change or keep up with trends. Make your art in whatever way makes you joyful. Im happy to ride along.

If it were up to me I’d stay away from the growl-ish thing. It’s terrible in the long term for vocal health just as whispering is terrible. It has to do with the improper closing of the vocal cords and it does damage. Alas, it’s up to you. I personally prefer normally supported voice levels for audios but other’s may differ. Either way I look forward to your continued content! 😋

Excellent. I try to do the raspy thing when it's situationally appropriate, I wouldn't want to overdo it. I don't think it would hurt my voice, it's not hard to do, but it does kind of imply 'whispering' to me. Like, I'm right in your ear.

I love captivating voices & am very picky about which ASMR artists I follow bc of it. Tbh Your natural voice is perfect👌🏼. Unless you’re doing an audio as a monster/supernatural creature, I wouldn’t recommend it. Plus we wouldn’t want you to strain or hurt your throat from maintaining a deeper, unnatural tone. If a voice is TOO over the top deep, it comes off a little cheesy. But that’s just my opinion🙈
Can’t wait to hear the next part of the holiday series! 🥰
