How Accessible Were This Year's Games?

Every year, I like to take a moment to check in with the games biz, and see how things are going in terms of accessibility. So, how did the games of 2021 fare in this regard?

Thanks! Speak soon! Busy month!

How Accessible Were This Year's Games?

Comments

Laura's great! Just to be clear, I didn't watch her videos for this, it was entirely based on my own research (playing over 40 games, talking to consultants and gamers, doing a literature review, etc)

I mentioned this in the comments on YouTube, but I wanted to say it here so more people have a chance of seeing it. If you're interested in accessibility, Laura K Buzz has a show specifically dedicated to the topic, and she covers it from a delightfully holistic perspective--everything from the common things like subtitles to finances and whether people are able to drive a car to get to a review event or convention. She has already covered everything you've mentioned in this video throughout the year, in greater depth, among other topics. This video feels like a recap of her videos this year.
