Hey! Sorry to do another post on this topic and clog up your inbox once more, but I wanted to make sure everyone who offered feedback on the last post saw that I am listening!
So for starters, thanks for your comments. In hindsight I should have just come to you guys first.
While I've had some negative feedback, I'm going to keep the new ones. I personally like them, they really fit the remit of standing out at a small size, and views have already gone up so I think they're working as intended.
I do get your concerns about consistency and professionalism, though, so thanks for sharing them.
To address this: for starters I've redone four of them: Batman's tagline was too click-baity, Beyond the Beef didn't really scream New Vegas, Game Feel was too plain, and Mechanics of Movement was better as it was.
And going forward I'm going to be very careful to make sure the thumbs reflect the tone of the video, and that the text is more descriptive.
Consistency is a little harder to do (though, they haven't been consistent for a while - I dropped the black band effect late last year), but I hope my (mostly) consistent use of the same font and white text will make them feel like a set.
So yeah. Thanks again for making your feelings known!
