Prompt #2

The Summoning hadn’t gone as planned. They were out of salt so they substituted sugar. Being one candle short, Becca stood in for the sixth candle with her phone at full brightness. The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality.

Jazel's voice was cruel and cold. "This is so stupid, Becca. You'd better be right."

"It better tell me I'm going to be famous," mewed Rachel.

Becca wished she didn't need two other girls to make a coven.

Using their budget items, however, it is no wonder that instead of a demon they summoned Hornby the Reluctant Devil.

Hornby had one broken horn, two [literal] left feet and just 3 dull teeth on the left side if his mouth. His wings were too small to allow him to fly and he smelled like bad bacon. Hornby sucked at being a devil. How much did he suck? Ass. He sucked ass.

Becca knew what the next step should be but it was more fun to watch things unfold.

Rachel asked the devil to tell her the future. Would she be successful? Would her ambition be enough? Was her fierce outlook on life all she needed to be happy?

Hornby smiled told her how many times she would fart in the next 20 years. Hornby also said the name of her future husband's lover. It did not help that Hornby named Jazel.

Over Rachel's shouting, Jazel demanded a boon of Hornby. She requested she be made more powerful and fearsome to her enemies.

Hornby gave the 17 year old the body of a fully grown male German body-builder but kept her adolescent head exactly the same. This, however, did nothing to slow Rachel's tirade and the two began to get violent [Jazel having a massive advantage with her newfound muscles]

Becca then used her infernal knowledge to demand the creature's name. Hornby [reluctantly] revealed his full epithet to her. Once his title slipped through her lips, that was it. Hornby was under her control.

There were more kids who were mean to her. Cruel. Called her names and made fun of her hair. But now she had a pet devil. Sure, Hornby was a shit devil, but you didn't need a good one to cause chaos.

"I can't wait for you to meet the rest of my class, Hornby"

"Me too," Hornby thought, as he looked back at the other two girls fighting. It seems like he finally found someone who could make use of his talents.

Okayest 😂 I love the end!

I’m late with this one. I decided to change the chant late last night. Talks about Monster Squad, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Creepshow (just to name a few) led me to movie mentioned below. The Summoning hadn’t gone as planned. They were out of salt, so they substituted sugar—how different could they be? Being one candle short, Becca stood in for the sixth candle, holding up her phone at full brightness while squinting to keep it from blinding her. The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality, it had been revived so many times it practically developed a fear of light. Liz began the chant: “Acorn husk and dust of coal Sky turns grey, storm clouds roll Day becomes as dark as night Thunder and lightning strike”* “O demon, ancient one, we summon thee Come forth now, and empower me From the depths where secrets lie Grant me strength—“ Becca: “What happened? Why’d you stop?” Liz: “I can’t see the rest of the last line. I must’ve had some black lipstick on my finger” Liz squints to try and read the last line. “Ah, I think I got it — lullaby?” (It was really: let me fly) As they chanted , the sugar began to caramelize on the floor, Becca’s arm started trembling from holding up her phone, and the spider plant’s last leaf drooped, seemed to give up its last will to live. Finally, with a puff of smoke, the demon appeared—not loud thunderous clap, but with a “ding” of a service bell. The demon looked more like someone who had been binge-watching TV for years instead of a terrifying force of evil. It wore a bathrobe and holding a mug that read, “World’s Okayest Demon.” “Really?” the demon sighed, glancing at the sugar circle, the dim glow from Becca’s phone, and the pitiful spider plant. “You know in the old days, people used animal blood and torches. Now this?! Sugar, a dying plant and -seriously- a phone flashlight?” Liz cleared her throat and mumbled, “Well, we were kinda in a hurry.” Becca, nodding her head in agreement, blurted out, “So, do we get a wish or something?” Sighing deeply and rolling its eyes, the demon said: “Sure, why not? I wish you would’ve just left me alone. There’s your wish, amateurs, enjoy.” It snapped its fingers and “ding”, it disappeared. *quoted from “The Worst Witch” a series of books of a school for witches (way before Harry Potter) and later became a movie starring Tim Curry (it was horrible, but I loved it).

There was a pink puff of smoke and the air shimmered. They heard some coughing as the air cleared and she came into focus. She was incredibly translucent but nonetheless there. She looked around confused. “Where the hell am I?” As she turned around and saw you all standing there, “oh no, no no no” she said, “not again.” Becca, Sarah, Jane, and Liz stood there gaping. They’d done something but who the hell was this? “W-who are you?” Liz asked the flustered looking woman. “I’m Janine,” she snapped while cracking her gum, “the demons’ secretary. Every time you shitty witches can’t summon correctly they send me.” What did yous do?” she asked. Liz started, “well we were out of salt, so we used sugar.” Then Becca chimed in, “and we were short a candle so I used my phone at full brightness.” “And the only live thing in the house was this sad-ass spider plant,” Jane added. “Well it’s no fucking wonder I’m here instead of a demon,” Janine retorted. “You aren’t fit to be interacting with a ghost let alone a demon. Now knock it off before you really fuck something up.” And with that she disappeared.

siesta_maven

Hey Doc, does Hornby make house calls? And uh, internationally? I know demons know no borders, but if Becca could send him north for a spell or two or six... Love it. -------------------------------- Mixed Signals, or Adam's Apple The yellowed plastic ceiling fan’s uneven staccato announced it had seen too many summers; cooling a poorly insulated attic apartment in New York City rivalled Sisyphus’ charge in punishment, futility, and endlessness. The jerky movement of the blades had an audience: three girls—women, really, but girls in each other’s company—lay beneath the crumbling urban canopy. Ponytail and pixie and curls intertwined before branching off into separate root systems. Six eyes seemed to follow the blades with rapt attention, though in truth, each girl was far away. This was their thinking place. It had been since they were children. The attic was a stage: a pirate ship, cave, castle, church (Lizzie and Michelle were married here, until Michelle married Arthur in the second grade. Their friendship survived—the second marriage, only 3 days). Sometime in high school, the stage became clubhouse. And now, as all three approached their thirties, it was therapist office, confessional, dating consultancy, think tank, dispensary, vineyard, and occasional bank. Or it had been all of these things, before Becca discovered her great-grandmother’s spellbook in storage last Wednesday. The coven had formed out of curiosity and sisterhood—as most do—and today was their first Summoning. They’d flipped through the book before landing on a dog-eared page, the text faint and stained. “To shoulder your burden” teased in red under the name “Lilith.” That sounded perfect (and the demon somehow familiar?) to the trio: Lizzie had a tyrant of a boss, Michelle heartbreak, and Becca, an actual shoulder injury, among other trials. But the Summoning hadn’t gone as planned. They were out of salt, so they substituted sugar. Being one candle short, Becca stood in for the sixth candle with her iPhone at full brightness. The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality. So, in hindsight, it’s no wonder that it all went wrong. Becca broke the thick air with a mammoth crack, popping her bubblegum as only girls can do, and snapping the group to attention. “What are we going to do with him?” “I don’t know! Who is he? Where did he come from? Are you sure you tied him up properly, Lizzie?” “Yes, Michelle! You know what I’m into. Should we talk to him? This is some fucked up shi—” “Um. Hi!” The reedy male voice pulled the girls to sitting position and all three trained their eyes to the figure in the corner. He was, in every way, just a guy. His wiry glasses and poky hair did little to frame his pale face. His jeans were a bit too big and his blue t-shirt too long. Tucked behind the neckline, a lanyard indicated a badge of some kind. “Hi, again, sorry. Um. Where am I? How did I get here? I’m, uh, kinda really confused.” The trio/coven consulted with eyes and Becca spoke aloud first: “We don’t know how you got here, exactly. And we’re sorry for tying you up, but we’re really confused too. We’re new to the witch game and we were trying to summon Lilith when you just appeared.” “I appeared? Uh, Lilith?” “Well actually, you sort of grew out of my phone. Like a genie, or something. And yeah, Lilith, she’s a demon.” “Oh! Huh. Some phone. And do you mean THE Lilith, like the biblical primordial she-demon? Eve 1.0, banished from Eden first? Or, like, Lilith from Borderlands?” “Oh HER! Yes, Lilith, the demon. And it’s just a normal iPhone. We ran out of candles, so I stood in the pentagram and held it up at full brightness.” “Well, uh, this is weird. Or weirder, I guess. My name is Adam and I work for Apple.”

caroscope

Bad Kora [CW: demon spanking] Darkness pooled at the centre of the upside down pentagram that we had drawn in chalk on Becca’s living room floor. I could feel myself throb in anticipation. I didn’t know what it was with me and demons, but the thought of finally summoning one made me feel hungry … and reckless. “Can you see anything yet?” Becca called across the room, sounding slightly hysterical and waving her mobile phone around impatiently. “Ssh! Just wait, will you?” I hissed. A shape condensed in the darkness - a demon - my demon. He was crouching in the centre of the circle, his tail draped around him, curved horns clearly visible. He was a little smaller than I had anticipated, but I was thrilled nonetheless. I cleared my throat. “Lord of darkness, daemonium magnum, we welcome thee to our circle! Let us honour thee and worship thee!” I intoned, feeling a little awkward. The demon rose to his full height, all of 4 feet. “Mistress? Is that you, mistress?” came the whiny, high pitched voice. Becca jumped and shone her phone light on him. The scaly pink creature gave a pathetic little howl. “The light, it’s bright, it hurts me!” Before I could say anything, he had shuffled over to me and thrown his sinewy arms around my waist. “Shit!” I mumbled under my breath. Becca and I looked at each other across the circle, but Becca just shrugged. “Demon!” she called, still sounding slightly hysterical. “We … we …want you to make us beautiful and powerful!” The little demon lifted his head out of the comfort of my soft belly and gave Becca a disapproving look. “Nah! Lost cause!” He grinned wickedly. I prised his arms away from my waist. He was surprisingly strong. “Err.. demon, that is normally the deal, you know? We summon you, make a couple of sacrifices and so on … and then you fulfil our wishes…” “No, not me!” piped the demon. “You’re thinking of Daddy... “ He started sniffing me, his reptilian snout snaking down between my legs. “You smell good though. Can I eat you?” “Bad demon!” I cried in surprise, as his forked tongue slithered over my clothes. My hand connected with his scaly cheek. He stopped what he was doing instantly and looked up at me. Was that pleasure in his sly little face? “Mmm, mistress has clever hands…Spank me and you’ll get a teensy, weensy wish fulfilled…” I stared at him and shook my head. “No, honestly…no! I don’t play that way, demon…”, but then I saw the twinkle in his eye. He wouldn't be a demon, if he didn’t have something to offer. “What wish?” “10 years, mistress! I can make you 10 years younger. Each blow, one year! Hand on your heart, hope to die”, he giggled, as he dug his sharp claws into my breasts. “You little beast!” I growled. “There, over that chair! Now! You count!” His black tongue licked his lips, as he draped his scaly arse over Becca's armchair. I pulled my arm back and let my hand fall on his buttock with some force. “One!” he snarled. I cried out in both pain and surprise. The palm of my hand burned, whilst a jolt of pleasure shot through my belly. “What…?” “Come on, mistress!” He taunted. I raised my hand again. “Two!” This time my palm was noticeably red. “Right, I’m not doing this, you foul little creature!” I protested. “Ah, but you’ve started, mistress.” The little demon’s voice was no longer high pitched, but velvety soft with a hint of menace. “We have a bargain now. A bargain on which you have wagered ten years of your life. Would you like to lose the remaining eight?” I shook my head, realising the terrible mistake I’d made. I let my hand fall on the demon’s flesh once more. “Three!” He purred. “And a little more enthusiasm, please!” My hand stung and my pussy throbbed, as I worked my way through four, five, six, seven and eight. By the time I got to nine, my hand was raw and I was on the verge of orgasm. “Come on, mistress”, the little demon laughed, “make it count!” My hand crashed down on him and a near painful climax gripped my insides. I dropped to my knees, clutching myself, as the convulsions wrung me hard and merciless. Electricity crackled in the air, as I knelt on the floor trying to get a hold of my breathing. I looked up and saw darkness pooling at the centre of the circle once more. “What is that, demon?” I groaned, my breathing laboured. “Is that the magic working?” The demon’s voice was clear and deep as he spoke again. “No, Kora, that’s Daddy.”

Katakora

Oh my word, this is breathtaking. I want to drown in every detail of this world.

The Summoning hadn’t gone as planned. They were out of salt so they substituted sugar. Being one candle short, Becca stood in for the sixth candle with her phone at full brightness. The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality. It’s no wonder that instead of a demon they summoned a creature that defied any known category of existence. It shimmered into being with the sound of distant bells, like wind chimes made from bone. Its form was constantly shifting, a flicker between shadows and light, never settling on one shape for long enough to be fully seen. Instead of malevolent whispers, it spoke in half-forgotten lullabies, the kind sung to children who feared the dark. The air around it smelled faintly of burned sugar and old parchment. The spider plant, clearly the smartest being in the room, instantly shriveled up as if to say, “Nope, I’m out.” Becca, still holding her phone, stared wide-eyed as the creature turned towards her, its voice a soft, echoing hum that made the hairs on her arms stand on end. "You seek power," it said, "but what you've found is the space between the notes of a forgotten song." None of them knew what that meant, but they knew they were in far deeper than any salt or candles could have protected them from.

libby (feral.libra)

Hornby sounds wonderful! Not devilish at all in fact. What's a bit of good chaos? 😂

Jamie wins. I know it's not a competition and there are not prizes but this made me cry so. Love this a whole lot.

The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality. It’s no wonder that instead of a demon they summoned Him. No demon, he was closer to a Demigod, or so they thought in that moment. A collective groan emanated from the women of all ages in the summoning circle when he appeared. It was strange, his exact form was hard to make out. He appeared just slightly blurry, as if he had no real features except large strong hands, a tender kissable mouth, and of course that big beautiful bouncy cock. The witches were so taken by it they barely noticed that he didn’t really have other features. Suddenly a deep, smooth yet gravelly voice greeted them, “Hey. I’m drRapture. You must be my ladies. I am meant to be your muse. I will guide you in all things pleasure, from meatballs to the delights of Japanese soda, from blue suction cup toys to the art of a joke, from Legos to freestyling. I will tell you stories, share many true/lies, inspire you with music and movies, and write for you the most filthy poetry you can imagine. I will ask you to stretch and write for me, things you might never have imagined doing (but of course you don’t have to if you’d prefer not). I will share my hands with you, and on very rare occasions they might be engaged in rather delicious activities. I want to fuck you, all of you, in every way you could possibly imagine and as often as you can imagine it, and I will whisper in your ears of my lust and drive you higher and higher until you climax. I will keep you awake until 4 am waiting for my audacious smut. I will wake you early to fuck your mind, and interrupt your work with debauchery you didn’t know you needed. And I will worship you like the GODDESS you are. You are incredible, each of you in your own way, beauty and grace beyond compare, and I simply adore you. Together we will create a space that is safe to express our desires, and to share joy (and sometimes sorrows). If you tell me too much of how wonderful I am I will hide in embarrassment, for I am but a figment of our collective imaginations, but you are always welcome to tell me the ways you worship my beautiful cock and wish me to celebrate you. Plenty of me to go around, my cum sponges,, shall we begin?” And so they did. With hope.

The only thing alive they had to offer was a spider plant of questionable mortality. It’s no wonder that instead of a demon they summoned a sassy and flamboyant drag queen named Glitterella Stardust, who appeared in a burst of glitter and fabulousness, wearing a sequined gown that shimmered like a disco ball. "Well, well, well, darlings!" Glitterella proclaimed dramatically, striking a pose that would put any supermodel to shame. "Looks like you summoned the queen of the underworld, honey! When you summon with sugar, you get a sweet surprise!" She giggled, tossing her hair and sending sparkles flying. The group stared in awe at Glitterella's glamorous entrance, unsure whether to be terrified or amused. "Oh, honey," Glitterella continued, sashaying over to the spider plant and delicately blowing a kiss to its wilted leaves, "we're going to have to do something about this sad little plant. It needs some glitter and a makeover, stat!" She clapped her hands together, sending a wave of magical energy through the room. "Now, who's ready to dance the night away with Glitterella Stardust?" ✨

Lina

There is no greater force of vengeance and chaos on this or any other plane of existence than an adolescent female.
