Listen, this game is fucking exceptional. It does what it sets out to with flying colors. The story is simple, emotional [but never cheap] and has some interesting twists. You play as a fox trying to protect her cubs. Be warned: they can die. Getting to the end of the game with all 4 is a bit of a challenge [that's kind of the point]. 3-5 hours of gameplay. 10/10 use of the medium.
Superhot
Really fun take on the FPS genre with a nice vague/vibey story to justify it. You come for gameplay on this one, not narrative. Great use of the medium. Simple controls, reasonable difficulty and feeling very accomplished. Feels like a precursor to Neon White in some ways. Great replay value, too.
Five Dates
Online dating! I say skip it Go straight to the sequel [Ten Dates - speed dating]. This game is a fun premise but really suffers from quarantine filming and the sequel is much better executed. Both, however, do a good job of teaching you how to look past certain first impressions and the first one still has a lot of heart. I am glad they stuck with it for another go.
Warioware
Love playing this with NJ. Fun for any level of gamer and great for parties or couples. Really shines in coop mode. For anyone that doesn't know, Warioware are a bunch of chaotic minigames with one word instructions where the joy comes from trying to figure out wtf is going on within the time limit. NJ and I busted this out with our D&D group and had a fucking blast. Lots of laughing, gets you moving and is so chaotic. You'll be looking like an absolute ass in no time. A must-buy for switch owners.

It’s an 16 bit side scroller fighting game. It’s in the E-shop. I HIGHLY recommend. It’s quite entertaining while stoned as well.

Another great group game we like (especially while under the influence) is Heave Ho. It's in the e-shop if you haven't played it. My stomach always hurts the next day from laughing so hard while playing. And uhh... a really fun turn-based couples game we invented that I highly recommend: (OMKTT) Oral Mario Kart Time Trials. Should I explain that one or do you get it? 👀
