[kinda like... SFW voyeur sleep aid and then I write a poem that is NSFW?]

Story time ends at 5:22 so feel free to bail after that if this isn't your jam

then [to settle in to being natural] I dick around a bit on insta, visit Throne for a quick sec and can't find my notebook [which I laid out before recording gods damnit]

11:29 I start to write a poem

I read the finished product at 29:52 [it's okay]

If we do more of this, I will get a bit more experimental but this is testing the waters. I dunno. What is this job? Who knows? Not I.

side note - I am cannot fucking waaaait for this next drop. You want camp? Ha. You got it.

Hey doc! Listened to this again this morning. Love this style of body-doubling so much. I work from home alone, so having someone else in my ears just puttering around is really nice.

I love all things ASMR and this whole thing is sooooo good! I have loved random people noises my whole life. When I was in college and my room mate would study and type papers, I would legit snuggle up with my blanket and take a nap. Thanks to YouTube I can go and listen to typing, pen and pencil writing sounds, paper rustling, etc. Your video hit all of my ASMR buttons! Thanks Doc for posting this and I really, really, really hope you do more in the future! ⌨️📝💜💜💜

I have been sick. So sick. But I’m back. And I’m bad. So. My established code name in my real life is Maymay- well established for about 10 yrs now. Prior to that it was Sunshine (ironically) and before than Sunshine (unironically). I now need everyone to have a code name. We’ve already got some. I don’t think I’ve got one here, although QQ is possible? Please check in Badger Queen, piñata, KC Marie, MP, LinaLove (not that much in code but who cares?), Velveeta, and anyone else I can’t think of right now with an epic code name. I will be contemplating my own from here on out.

This was seemingly nothing and everything in between. Listening to you work you're way through working to end on that, it's own type of foreplay to be in silence. Withholding your voice until the very end and then give us the growly, sensual, low yummy in our ears. Hopefully that made sense.

1. What kind of clicky clacky keyboard you got there, Doc? I have one at work and love punching those keys in when writing a sassy email response. 2. I had a bit of an emotional response to the voyeur part? It IMMEDIATELY took me back to when (prior to marriage and being piss poor) we lived in a studio apartment. That tiny room, my man writing his stories on a beat-up goodwill desk while I was reading a Harlequin romance on a mattress on the floor. 🥹 3. That poem was 🫠🫠🫠🥵🥵🥵

O0o this was really enjoyable. Knocked me out cold, I have to go back and relisten to hear the poem! I've been hoping for a SFW actual sleep aide (I love the effort but the book reading was too hysterical for a sleep aide). This hits that spot and more.

Spirited Cricket

This was so perfect, I listened to it twice. In that time, I finished a report for work that I’ve been putting off for 3 days! Thank you, Doc 🙇‍♀️

Shaken Not Stirred

I've never heard of this!! So cool!

This felt like a perfect ‘body doubling’ audio. For many neurospicy folks, ‘body doubling’ is very helpful for getting tasks done. It is having someone else in the same space - generally doing their own thing - as you complete your task(s). It’s helps move someone with executive dysfunction from wanting to do a task but not having gas for their engine, to someone’s presence providing that gas. A 20-30 min audio you of going about your creative tasks/whatever chores/cooking/whatever mundane thing is enough for someone listening to get a task or two done as well. Perhaps something worth exploring.

The fax story would make a great short film. Always a delight to witness a creative process. The wheels turning are almost audible. The lulling sounds of pen on paper, the mumbles and whispers - all so good!

Beatriz

Ooh I love this! Both the by-my-side and on-the-radio qualities, white noise and storytime. The sounds of pencil and paper, process, tapping out the meter, whispered trials of colorful adjectives and a body’s nouns, naughty verbs…delightfully familiar but intimately yours. This is soothing and enticing. Successful water test, I think. I like your frequency, Doc.
